What momentum? I don't know but comparing the x1 versus a last gen console while their main current competitor is constantly dominating worldwide momentum is hardly called "momentum".
This article looks more to me like selling the "idea of momentum".
Tomb Raider cut the majority of its user base by not releasing on PS4.
Historically, it is well proven that Tomb Raider always sells best on PlayStation.
Xbox One does not count with a big market share in fact, the whole market is dominated by PlayStation.
Releasing the same day as the most anticipated game in years that is also multiplatform.
Sorry, but pretending that all these factors won't affect Tomb Raider is just...
Looks like while both versions has problems, the PS4 has superior results
"On balance though, PS4 is in the better shape as terms of consistency across the game; it has nothing close to the stuttering seen on Xbox One, and a better frame-rate in big towns and cities as well. Xbox One has a repeatable advantage in the Deathclaw battle, where effects clash heavily, but in most scenarios we get matching, or superior results on PS4."

While both version has problems, the PS4 is better as always. X1 dropping to 0 fps is a real new record. I hope Bethesda fix this soon.
Shame on you Bethesda.
We gamers must be very careful on today's reviews, most of them has an specific agenda or are reviewed by someone who doesn't have the expertise to do it.
I remember a review of Bloodborne where the reviewer gave a bad score because the game was difficult. Can you believe that?
In conclusion, a review shouldn't be a desicion point to buy a game, one must review all reviews then user reviews and then make a desicion.
Shame on you Bethesda. You must learn from others developers
I really wanted to play the game but in its current condition, I won't. It will ruin the experience. Is better to wait until is fixed as it was supposed to be before releasing the game.
Shame on you Bethesda.
I will check your comment back when Digital Foundry publish their technical analysis.
Holding my wallet until I am sure the game is working without any critical issues and game breaking bugs.
This is Bethesda and good quality is not expected at all.
I would take the day off if there would be a guarantee that the game would work without problems but, this is Bethesda and is just going to be a bug fest and technical issues party.
Very silly if you think you will not find any problems on other platforms.
Going tomorrow to cancel my Pre order of this game. I am really exited to play it but playing it like this? It will just ruin the experience for me. I rather wait until Bethesda fix their product and when everything is working fine, then I buy it so I can enjoy the experience from start to finish.
Playing the game like this will only get me mad and ruin what is supposed to be a good experience.
Shame on you Bethesda.
This is why I am more exited about VR than argument reality. VR is just way more amazing. If priced right, PSVR will also be a hit with the casual audience. Surely I am in for day one. This will be awesome.
Funny how MS has focused more on try to counter PS4 COD bundle and on Fallout 4 than its own exclusives.
Wow the technology we have these days. That was amazing. This is going to be a must buy for me.
Thank God I played yesterday all day and night and never had a problem playing online with friends and finding matches.
Compared to others COD, this was the least I had problems with on launch day. Hope everything get fixed for the others because this is a really good COD game.
Let's face it, is going to sell 3x more on PS4. An article posted online won't change that.
Good for him. Sadly, the xbox community treat indi games like if they were trash and not worth a cent.
I know this was not driven by fans, it was driven and forced by customers backlash, poor sales and the extreme success of the PS4 but at the end is good for those who own the console and this is not a favor MS is doing, after the horrible x1 reveal and launch, this is an obligation they have with their fans.
