It will be Ryzen based instead of Jaguar based, so the CPU will be way better. That combined with HDMI 2.1 VRR will be a game changer for console frame rates. I bet some games will support 1080p/120hz.

They made a CoD for the Vita. A CoD on Switch is only a matter of time. Modern Warfare remastered would have made the most sense. When it went stand-alone on PS4/XB1/PC they could have ported it to Switch. Even a few months later would have been fine. It would sell a ton and move Switch consoles as well. Oh well.
And the crazy thing is that it doesn't have anywhere near as many ports as a game like Skyrim. GTA5 would sell like crazy on Switch and would sell a decent amount of copies if they ported it to VR for PS, Vive, Rift etc
I love Bloodborne and all the souls games, but this game was a mess at launch. The load times were atrocious and I hate playing this type of game at 30 frames. Being able to play the Souls game at 60 frames on PC is a night and day difference. I would give anything for Bloodborne on PC. I know it'll never happen, but PC isn't really a direct competitor to Sony. Xbox is the only direct competitor. It would be cool if Demon's Souls and Bloodborne would come to PC after several years...

MGS1 was great for it's time, but the mechanics haven't aged well. MGS2 is awesome. I didn't like it when I was a young teen because I wanted to be Snake, but I appreciate it now. Don't worry Xbox guys, us PC gamers are still waiting on VR implementation for RE7. PSVR allegedly had a 1 year exclusivity window which has now passed, but no word yet on if or when we will get it.
Doesn't bother me at all since I have a gigabit connection but some people have data caps and slow speeds. For them it definitely sucks.

I love VR and the PSVR is awesome. But he mentions the Vive for $600 and a $1000 PC. That's not really fair. The Oculus Rift is arguably better with it's new controllers and more comfortable HMD. It's very easy to make a long game. You can pad a game with boring side quest after boring side quest and then brag that it takes 50+ hours to beat. But what good is that?
Story? It's a platformer. Do you only enjoy narrative driven games? That's a shame. I like a good story as much as the next guy, but this is a platformer not The Last of Us or Bioshock.

Getting both and am currently enjoying the hell out of Nioh. Looking forward to Zelda more since it's the first truly open world Zelda since the original on NES. Breath of the Wild seems like it has the spirit of the first game and that makes me very happy. Horizon looks awesome though. And I've always wanted a game starring Ygritte!
I would like to see a $399 PS5 and a $599 PS5 Pro at launch. Rather than go the mid console refresh again.
