Same here lol
Elden Ring on a high end PC should look comparable to DS PS5. Hopefully it's a decent PC release.
I love my PC, PS5, Series X and Switch equally. All platforms have advantages and disadvantages. But as far as PC gaming, I would advise to stay away from Windows 11 for at least another year. And I haven't had a team red product since the ATi days. Had so many issues with ATI drivers. Never had any issues with Intel/Nvidia. 10900k/3080 Ti.
Don't we all want a Super Wii?
New Twisted Metal or a TM2 remake. A guy can dream.
Obviously new games are what matter most, but man I would love to see a Demon's Souls remake and/or a Bloodborne remaster. PS5 could easily handle Bloodborne at 4k60 with it's beefy specs, and since Demon's Souls was a PS3 title, a full remake should be in order rather than a remaster.
I'm a huge MGS fan that never got into MGO, but it's awesome to see people passionate about it. I feel the same way about Splinter Cells multiplayer component, Spies Vs Mercs from the Pandora Tomorrow/Chaos Theory days. Like MGO, it was underappreciated and most people just played the single player.
GTA6 will likely be cross gen the same way GTA5 was. As much as I would love for GTA6 to be PC and next gen only, the install base is so high for current gen that Rockstar would be leaving a lot of money on the table. Unless GTA6 is still years away.
Have you played Chaos Theory?
You can always check out the level when you are near the end of the level and fast travel unlocks. At that point all or most of the enemies should be dead and you can take in all the sights of hell. Amazing game.
100 percent agreed on the Shining Force titles!
Please bring back Spies Vs Mercs 2v2 Chaos Theory style
It's great for Souls/Bloodborne games since you can run and roll without removing your right thumb from the analog stick.
DX11 mode ran way better for me
I agree. UMK3 was the last great MK game(before MK9) and Trilogy was a nice send off before the series started to suck when it went 3d with 4.
You are right about the CPU. I initially played Fallout 4 VR with a 5930k and a 1080 Ti and it didn't run well. Now with a 9900k and 2080 Ti it runs great. I believe it has more to do with the CPU than the GPU.
I just got it with Moss in the bundle and it's really fun so far.
We need Contra!
At the very least the PS5/Next Xbox should have: 16gb shared RAM(double the current), minimum of 8 teraflops, 4k blu ray, HDMI 2.1 with variable refresh rates, Ryzen based CPU/APU instead of the Jaguar garbage, 2TB mechanical drive(with user option to upgrade to SSD) and I would like to see Pro/X models available at launch. Give us the PS5 at $399 and the PS5 Pro at $599. The Pro/X models can have: more RAM, more teraflops, better CPU, bigger HDD/SSD etc
This is where a premium/pro console from Microsoft would make sense. The Series S is the cheap console, the Series X is the one most people get(probably) and then a hypothetical Series Z for $699-$799 would be for people wanting a high end PC gaming type experience on a console. This Series Z could have 20-25 teraflops and could have more 60fps experiences for those that want them and don't necessarily want to game on PC. I'm hoping the PS5 Pro takes this approach.
