Considering the 360's biggest exclusive of 2013 hit a franchise low 79% on metacritic, it hasn't exactly been a "best games" kinda year for microsoft.
Sony padded 2013 with tons of ps3 exclusives though. Even december still has GT6. Microsoft gave up on the 360 after halo 4, and they bought dead rising 3 exclusivity from a 3rd party in capcom. Different definitions of support. Easy to understand the ps4's november when the ps3 is the one getting sony's biggest games of the year before and after.
Hard time competing with what? Since the "birth of the xbox brand" sony's sold over 200 million consoles lol!
There haven't been any AAA 360 exclusives all year besides gears judgment, and god of war ascension sold more and rated higher in the same window. Some people are so fixated on november, they forgot what happened jan-oct.

All the review copies and comparison copies were always 1080p native. The --retail discs-- that no one has played yet, were flubbed by activision and the patch will "flip the switch".

The multiplats aren't rating much better. This years battlefield, cod and assassins creed have been rocking the 70's and low 80's meta averages too across next AND current gen. Sequelitis.

Sounds like all you wanna play is the same game over and over and over again. Now its COD with mechs.
The multiplayer in uncharted and last of us were actually very well done for the kinda 3rd person online they do. Calling the replay value low is a lowball. No one stopped you from playing MAG, DCUO, warhawk, starhawk, twisted metal, dragons crown, killzone, resistance online...but you'd rather play nothing. Sounds...fun?
Fitness made me laugh. If someone's already spending over 100 a month to do Crossfit for example, they're not gonna waste another 500 on a Bone just to get their Kinect cardio, LOL. That ultra-fit Zumba chick in the commercial didn't get that way by playing XBox

Nowhere in that link does it say that. What it does say though is that gaming bucks are down due to ps4 costs for example, which is normal and should be recouped when it finally launches. Also says software is up.
Blames the loss on other divisions, like "devices and pictures", in that very link. Its not like a potential new CEO is considering selling off the gaming division. Meanwhile elsewhere..

Fact remains, the game in question is the lowest rated COD on console. Even Big Red One reviewed better than Ghosts. So where are these "fantastic leaps in AI, fantastic leaps in game design, fantastic leaps in game gen...

Your beloved Japanese developed Metal Gear Rising only sold 280,000 on XBox. Twisted Metal more than doubled that. Resistance quadrupled it
A lot of high profile sequels barely passed a million. MGS Rising, Max Payne 3, Hitman Absolution, Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, Forza Horizon.

Now you're talkin #*%x. No david cage game did well on metacritic?! Heavy rain did a fantastic 87/100 with over a hundred reviews. It also sold a few million and won a couple prestigious awards along the way like from bafta. I love how the possibility that he's had success is not even an option for you

Their games get worse? Wtf, heavy rain was their most successful critically and commercially. It was waaaay better than indigo prophecy which turned into aliens and matrix apocalypse wank.
To say the graphics are bad in beyond is wank too. The train/forest demo is gorgeous with good bump animations and lighting. Bad graphics, lol.

Halo as a franchise has -never- been acclaimed for its graphics. Halo 3 was sub-hd and even resistance 2 had more flare than halo reach according to lens of truth http://n4g.com/news/674126/... . Halo 4 looked good, but not enough to unseat the dominant fps graphics beasts like killzone, crysis, or even metro.
