Hey Brainiac, PlayStation has tons of free avatars as has been noted, and Xbox who you name drop as some philanthropist sells THOUSANDS of avatar pieces on xbl on the 360 so you're ranting about nothing.

Is this your first PlayStation? theyve been doing avatars and themes on PS3 forever. You could download free themes from the WWW or use your own pics as wallpapers. Lots of free avatars given out through ps plus, by default or by buying certain games too.
For me it's more about accessing what I already have than buying new ones. There's free Diablo 3 avatars on the ps store right now for example that you can only find on PS3, but not ps4. That's ridiculous. Glad ...

As has been explained already. They need to accept your real name request to see your custom profile pic. So it's not a useless feature.

You don't have to buy them. I got lots of free ones through PS plus and as bonus content through games, like Journey collectors edition and Beyond Two Souls. Problem is ps4 doesn't even let you access those
We need this. no one sees ps app custom profile pics unless they've accepted your real name request which reveals your profile pics. or everyone's privacy settings line up like the close friends of close friends setting.

The point in my reply was I felt the trophy dispersal was unbalanced. Regardless if you like MP or not it's still the heart of the game, the most popular mode, and I feel it has been disproportionately ignored as far as trophies. Especially odd to me seeing that the ps3/360 versions won't even have campaign trophies.

Struck a nerve? Zombies are a dime a dozen concept these days. Sorry to break it to you. Who would pay $70 for COD solely to get their zombie on? Minority at best. Trophy dispersal should reflect that. You could take zombies out and it would still be COD. Take out the competitive MP and you lose the heart and soul of the whole thing.
So no, having 4 measly MP trophies yet double the amount of zombie ones and quadruple the amount of campaign ones, is still unbalanced as hell. ...
Never understood these games. The one franchise that -should- actually have a heavy focus on MP trophies has next to none. Zombies doesn't count. Campaign is a nuisance. It's all about the MP. I don't even think the last gen versions have SP. what's that list gonna be?!
