If you're strapped and need to go cheap...360 is the way to go.
If you want to get something for someone that you care about, PS3 is the best choice. There's no way to be disappointed in that christmas gift.

I have 2 NESs, an SNES, N64, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1 and a PS2...all of which still WORK after years and years of shelf life. PS2 has been on Standby since launch, still works...my father enjoys playing the NES once in a while (still have to blow into cartridges though), I have my SNES plugged into a TV in another room, which I havent played in months, but I COULD if i chose to.
What does this mean?

What I was thinking it meant was letting someone log onto your PSN account from their Ps3 so they can download your downloaded games.

I have no qualms with the 360 remote...it is awkwardly big in my personal opinion, but I still manage to play on it...
the D-pad kills me though, the triggers are cool...but I've been playing video games since the old days, and the SNES remote comes to mind...small, and at the time very comfortable.
(more than the BLOCK NES remote lol)
In the end though, to each their own. right? :)

On Topic: This news about the PS4 is a little premature...(way premature actually)but I still enjoy hearing about it...its very exciting to think about how great technology has been evolving and how we were fortunate enough to see it happen.
Im thankful to have been alive to play the Atari 2600 all the way up to the Dreamcasts, Jaguars, and N64s and what-not.
