As much as I would LOVE it to be, I doubt it will be out, realistically, until Spring 2012 at the earliest, more than likely Summer. The game isn't even out in beta yet afterall and MMOs take longer than most games to come out of beta.
With Activision Blizzard turning over insane profit each year, especially with the 11 million WoW players paying £9 EVERY MONTH, is charging more really necessary?
Even DDOS attacks can be avoided if your servers etc are up to scratch so hopefully this will set the wheels in motion is what I mean.
You can ALMOST see why they would hack a company such as Eve Online to test their security so they improve it (see: Sony) althought it doesn't make it right, but why hack poor Minecraft? :(
E8400, 560 Ti, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 20fps on Medium with everything off.
Luckily that's not the case anymore as I'm now sporting an i5 with 4GB DDR3 :)
Oh and running it at 1920x1200.
It's crazy how my old rig with an E8400 and 560GTX Ti could only run it at 20FPS on medium yet the 360s now dated hardware will be able to run it smoothly on medium? Guess they must be putting a lot of effort into optimising it!

It's more than likely just an early Portal 2 release.
The AI was far from intelligent but I didn't have any bugs or framerate issues in my playthrough but that's probably because I'm lucky enough to have a rig powerful enough to run it well.
My point with the upgrades is that I can get the stealth upgrades after a few hours play, or have to wait far longer for the armor upgrades. Surely a better system would be to have a 1000 stealth upgrade, a 1000 armor upgrade, a 5000 stealth upgrade, a 5000 armor upgrade.
Instead you have a 1000 sealth upgrade, and a 10000 armor upgrade (I may be exagerating) so your having to sacrifice a lot of playtime without any upgrades as you save up.
