Alan Wake on pc in 4k is beautiful, the ending of each chapter that fades into music is a touch that I dig. The rock band farm scene ranks as top gaming moments for me.
There should be no fight only consumer vs corporate. If on a budget consoles are perfect, if larger budget and enjoy tech pc is a hobby.
I'm so thankful pc is getting this now I can play it in 4k!
This is one of two goals I want to see, I want history lessons turned into games where I learn and have fun similar to civ5 and assasins creed. Second goal would be for true emotion and feeling, like in movies and books that make me truly care.
I want to trust game developers but have skepticism regarding them bs-ing around to keep the checks coming with delay after delay. I really want to be wrong but knowing human nature as I have experienced I can see that possibility.
Vanilla game no mods cause 4k is enough. Titan and samsung 8550. First had a seiki though at 30hz, now at 60hz I nice.
I've had this on steam early access for months now and tried to stay away from the custom courses but was weak and got hooked. Looks fanfastic in 4k btw.
That state has been since at least 2010 when my PC started playing all multiplats at 1080p instead of the 700x400, screen tearing, low fps affair that consoles offer. I've been at 4k for over a year so yes next gen was beat prior to release. Of course I still need consoles for exclusives.
Perfect lines must stop, let's hope they revolutionize AI ! Other than improved sounds I think I will be in heaven.
Pre ordered the other day on pc with madden and sunset overdrive too cause at bestbuy I have the gamersclub $12 off each and each 1 has $10 pre order deal. So got each for 37, after points tax is covered too. Been playin gta4 in 4k this month havin blast.
I replay it every few years, its just so enjoyable to me. Even picked it up on pc to play in 4k.
I never could get it to work with direct tv, is there a ban on them? I had the entire Sunday ticket and was useless with x1, another thing is I like to watch from dvr but live scores show up on x1 so I had to disable it.
No way I can read all these posts but coming from a kinect1 fanboy the UI has been quite herk a jerk since my day 1 edition fiasco. It's like my droid phone that's sits and spins for agonizing seconds when it should be crisp.
Edit- vaguely remember looking this up and found some fix to delete cache or something and turn off background stuff and turn some other stuff off in options and that helped.
I've been gaming at 4k 30hz on a pos seiki for over a year, and as bad as that is the 4k on single player games are great. Now I'm on a 60 hz and it's fantastic. Now I want a second titan though.
I thought popcorn was a low calorie suggested alternative
Unlike the article says I don't have Facebook and now the trend is to ditch it anyway. I also sign out of google so I can't be tracked that way. But big data is growing in a way I don't like and don't have tools to control easily.
Actually then you would use the exact game for two years reign a roster update. The current way you get a roster update and slight improvements.
I like combat mission style games, and now they added a "we go" option and others have added a pause anytime. Also jaded alliance type of games are the best for me. Xcom too.
The 880 should be as good as an improvement as the last several, 580 680 was around 30% each time. So 10-20 frames improvement in top tier games? Crysis3 on a 580 30fps, 680 50fps, 780 60fps, 880 4k?
When it's done...I preordered and have so much to play I wouldn't care if it was Jan 15, just get it right.
