Steam, the only tech related company I haven't had an issue with.
Apple -icloud, a mess for me
Droid - my note stares at me forever when I select something
Ps3 - first 3 years
360 - wouldn't give new console in 2011
Timewarner and directv and pc not bad for me.
X1 - kinect less responsive than first one
Ps4 - too few exclusives for a pc player
Steam always works, 75% off, can play offline, free service, good comm...
My x1 jacks up on not one, but every frigin game I have bought. On release day it took half the day to get it un-stuck between all the installs, updates, lock-ups. My friend and I took the day off work and kids to sit there, cuszing this joker! Half the time I put in disc now and it doesn't even respond unless I power cycle. I've called ms support several times and they see it all the time.
Lie? I pre ordered it...
I don't need a car that goes 75mph either do I, Mr. King Ruler of my choices. You don't need a car just a consistent walk to the destination for you then.
After they bought Direct2Drive they messed up so bad for so long I was in shock how negligent they handled the transition from a good service. Needless to say I moved completely to Steam after that, this doesn't surprise me. POOR LEADERSHIP, but he execs won't hear me, I know.
Why is the ps4 version not much better graphically? I assume EA and MS didn't push the ps4 to its limits. I was going to buy a ps4 if madden was at least a point better in gfx, but guess I will wait. Every year since original xbox I always get the best looking madden.
I have lots of difficulty with fighters, I'm just not good. But I really like fight girls, the mechanics allow an idiot like me to have fun. Although it was criticized as a bad game, its a good example of there is an audience for every game.
In the lull between maddens I load up 2k8 and have fun. When I try madden again the smothness of control and animations and ability to control the player with precision are all reduced. Yet I succumb to the new roster update cause I love real football so much.
Madden and pga golf main reason I buy consoles, then exclusives are a bonus over pc 4k gaming. Since ps2 days I always got madden on the system that was the best gfx wise, which happened to be MS, seems like EA could make it better on ps4 this year.
I have reduced my purchases this year cause I have dozens of games per genre I will never get to. I hope I don't assist in killing the market but somethin has to give, 250 steam games and 200 last gen games, few new gen. Hell I'm playin cod 1 in 4k from years ago.
My kindergarten twins are asking for a Wiiu, I tried to tell them we have a wii and that is plenty but they provided an attorney general, supreme court -level, argument contrasting the differences, all based on a few commercials they snuck in. No confusion here...
Black Friday is in 3 months and I have 300 years of backlog so I will hopefully get a better online deal on BF or CM.
Playin it for months on Steam early access and like it a lot, got addicted to the crazy course creator. There are so many talented courses made by users it is unreal.
Started the original horizon again last night and man for the day it looks great, I really like music it gets me pumped. Weird thing this friggin 30fps deal I've become sensitive to it and it nags at me while I play. Kinda wish I was ignorant to it. Also since playin a lot of pc resolution is noticeable, not as bad in horizon cause aliasing is not bad. After I play last gen consoles awhile it goes away, but put grid2 in 4k in and hang it up.
60hz too slow? 4k tvs were 30hz last year, this year they do 60 and nvidia released updated drivers for their cards to do 60hz at 4k. Windows has the ability to increase font size and only a few games had small in game font, majority are perfect.
Was it "not for you" going from 800x600 to HD? Every 5 years resolution has increased for decades, and no one goes backwards buying a 1368x720 monitor. Yes, increased resoulution is better just depends on the price point my brotha. I've been gaming at 4096x2160p for over a year and a half and 1080 looks like rough.
I always enjoy new tech but this sounds like a monumental problem and is my first sniff this may not pan out. I jumped on move/kinect and liked both but ultimately both hit the bargin bin, I will now listen to those who warned peripherals fail, and not buy OccRift/morph as an early adopter.
I sit back and enjoy replays, changing cameras, listening to music and pausing during cool events. Dirt 2 was fantastic for the day, also the original Horizon from the Forza series was spot on, and gt6 too.
Do you mind explaining this post to me as I haven't kept up with the online portion? I pre ordered PC version. Thanks
I rarely touch multiplayer but this is peaking my interest. Been playin the first one and is fantastic, funny how I get all wound up when a hidden car location is mentioned.
