I happen to like dk and the fable series and never new anything about "broken promises" cause I play games and don't listen what devs say or think.
You wouldn't believe the responsiveness in moving the camera around and moving the character at 60fps. I'll never forget dead space on pc at 60.
In addition, changing video modes on many tvs from game to cinema also effect the responsiveness. Try a racing game in both or a 3rd person shooter.
Now 120 in my opinion is only slightly better and is not as important as 30 to 60. But 120 is better, you physically can move your character better.
This is 800? Wow. I really get by with whatever it is, especially if it's as good as tlos.
I could play the tlos even though I've been playing 4kpc for nearly 2 years.
After reading that guys comment about his wife watching him made me perk up and start contemplating if i should look into this game. Of couse it will warrant a $400 purchase of a ps4 in addition to the game.
Watching a movie versus actually controlling the camera in a game is not in the same ballpark.
Animations look more fluid but I notice it in moving the sticks to control character movement and camera angles.
Nice comment. I wonder if some game developers have the mentality that to goof off not working on games for as long as possible until it can't be postponed any longer. Like getting off work early, playing at work, long lunches.
Such as some government workers don't care and don't do their job because there is little oversight?
Something is wrong with Nintendo, maybe it is top to bottom stagnation, with little sparks getting extinguished intermit...
I had one on midnight release but sold it after kz was as good as 20 other shooters I have on pc and last gen.
I'm in a lucky place that I'm gaming at 4k and it's hard to do any console gaming.
Another thing is my backlog is over 1000 years now so I have tried to tell myself I won't buy any games this year, and I havent.
I have went back to the ps360 a few times and I still have a huge back log and for some reason the gfx don&...
Almost all games are not worth it to me since I have 5 games in the exact same genre that I haven't beaten. Drakes is one exception since I don't have a modern iteration of that, although tomb raider is close.
Other that star wars or something Roman I can't see buying a Day1 game again.
I agree but it depends on the current backlog. When skyrim came out I had no other similar game to fill the need so it was a must buy for me, and I was shocked some said I will get the goty version.
Now I have every genre filled for 1000 years so I don't need any new games anymore.
Plus even when I buy a game half off, before I play it it's 75% off.
No resolutions above 1080 tested, cmon.
The writing in that article was awful...Forbes has a freelance writer do it and no games editor to throw that garbaaaj out.
What is an "input" he refrenced 10 times in the beginning?
I've been playin state of decay in 4k again and it looks very similar to this.
One of the 2 subjects I'm a sucker and will pay for, sw and Roman games. Like a nut a bought my first game for $100, star wars commander. I've never spent more than a few bucks on a mobile game. And I get the majority of my games discounted.
It won't impact me because I read the content of the review looking for details that appeal to me, no matter if it gets a 3 like the ps4 game blue something game. I will buy that cause it appeals to me.
Then Im 90% sure after the review and do a 1 minute gameplay video on yt and I finish my decision. Yes or no and at what price point.
Like torture listening to that...see if you beat my 15 seconds.
I was playin today in 4k and I love that game! I turn down the contrast a little though, and the gamma up a hair to see better at night.
That's pitiful. You sight 2007 as it getting going? We are approaching a decade and these are steps?
No I just don't buy it, they are asleep at the wheel while apple, google, amazon just keep wowing me.
MS should have lead every frigging single awesome tech that has come out in the last 20 years, they had the resources and man power but got fat and lazy.
I expect magic vodoo crazy tech from them with pc gaming but get nothing but a ...
Developer support does not equal profit. Selling to the masses will make money and you just said it's not for everyone.
Only a portion of gamers will even consider it, an even smaller number will buy it. Probably 2 million people might buy it, is my guess...about a quater of those that bought kinect.
Rome and star wars are my 2 favorite settings for games and movies, so I'm excited for this.
Heads to steam to find green light project...
I actually won that raffle! I hope they send me another email...
Hehe
Not only am I not pre ordering in 2015, I'm not buying games. I have a 1000 year backlog. Plus every time I buy a game it's on sale before I even get to it.
I will pick up all the 2015 games on black Friday for $20 each.
