I don't understand, These guys are very talented developers, a lot of these guys worked on my favorite Final Fantasy, FF9, and they just go on making this.
I don't know, but Forcing a third game of an installment that a lot of people didn't like isn't good for the fans. I guess we gotta wait a while longer for Versus 13.
Considering that the 360 and ps3 didn't get ports of big games from the ps2/xbox in their launch windows, this doesn't come as a big surprise.
However, there is a separate company porting a game from Square enix, i'm suspecting it's Tomb Raider, so Wii U owners have that to look forward to.
Let's hope that by the next year, the Wii U will get more third party games come to the system.
yeah, i can imagine Valve doing automatic updates with the latest drivers through steam to help make things easier for more casual players.
this could also mean that a lot more PC games will be better optimized, because there will be specific hardware that devs can reference at least.
one thing i am curiouse about is how Valve plan on doing some optional update to the hardware down the line, i imagine some partnership with manufactures to make necessary upgra...

Personally i think that this is great, because one thing that i can admit is annoying about my PC is that this thing is too damn big to bring over to my friends place.
I can assume that this thing will be considerably smaller than a mid tower, making it much more portable.
so however it turns out, this should make PC gaming more accessib...
i sort of agree with this.
I mean, i know i'm not gonna play too much multiplayer on the 720, because i refuse to pay for Xbox live, but at least with the Wii U and PS4/Onmi, there are games that i KNOW are coming, i.e. Smash bros, Uncharted, etc. with the 720, the only game i know i'll get with it is Halo 5, and that wont come out a few years after it's released.
But like any system, if there are enough exclusives, then i'm down with it, but ...
Show me some GAMES, at this point specs don't matter to me. You can boast about hardware all you want, but if ya got no games to show, then what's the point?

pretty much every system launch lately have been trash. However Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101, and Pikmin are coming Q1 next year. GAMES like you said.
Evidently, Owning all the platforms and enjoying everything is so taboo to N4G, it's all about Sony and Ms, but instead of saying, "Oh cool, the WiiU has some nice games coming out" they just call it crap, and wont be able to experience great games over some damn specs.

Next gen consoles wont look that good
Yeah, the final boss came out of no where, but this is probably the best 3d final fantasy, because the story wasn't a mess, the characters were much more impacting, and it made numerous throwbacks to the oldschool ff's all while keeping it's own identity.
There's a reason it's Sakaguchi's favorite ff game.
Personally, however, FF6 is THE best final fantasy game in my opinion.
The only Sites I ever visit for reviews anymore are Gametrailers, and Gamesradar. And I just come here for news.
GT and Gamesradar's reviews have probably been the most fair for the Wii U so far, as well as reviews in general.
and as much as a lot of people don't like Shane Satterfield, he's one of the few who are actually defending the Wii u.
There's not much incentive for me to get multiplats on Wii U.
Unless there's exclusive content, and the Gamepad does some cool things to change up gameplay, then no.

I believe we're looking in the wrong places in terms of Japanese games.
We tend to look at the big boys like Capcom, Square Enix and Konami, but we forget that the smaller Studios have been doing pretty great as far as games are concerned.
Look At Platinum Games, Level 5, Mistwalker, And Atlus. Those guys have been Producing Some amazing games as of late, And their upcoming games have me excited.

I have an old copy of Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions. I bought the game at a trade store a while ago, and play it on my ps3 often.
