I played it that way as well & I beat the entire game. It was fun save scumming & continuing where you left off. I agree more people would play & enjoy rougue lites if they had save options & different modes to play the game.
It doesn't bother me at all. I've played several games at 30fps in quality mode & I enjoyed the game in its entirety.

I own both consoles & Halo Infinite is a boring game no matter what the Metacritic score is. There are Xbox fans that agree Halo Infinite is not all that.
