EA is testing the market. They have enough leverage and marketing prowess to sell their games on their own website.
It's inevitable that distribution will not go through one online channel. The internet is too big.
Impressive for an indie game.
The real question is: Do they look as pretty as Nathan?
You can't stand for both (or none). Disc formats are dying. People that argue for owning physical media are ignoring the history of media. All physical media is replaced every decade by new technology.
Streaming or digital media is the future. Less moving parts, no physical objects to clutter the house, no physical exercise in inserting/ejecting media. Win, win, win!
The Wii U tackles a problem that doesn't exist. It's common for households to have multiple TVs.
Proof is in the pudding. Xbox Live has always been 100% secure in terms of data theft.
(I'm not counting a few people that gave their data away to scammers/phishers. Regarding game mods or game hacks, that is the fault of the developer, not Microsoft.)
Women are not "cool". Only guys can be "cool". Just look at the way children perceive their moms and dads.

Iwata: "...this controller will change things."
An iPad that requires a set top box is not likely to change things.
Bioshock 2 was not a retread. It was a solid sequel with improved game mechanics.
I think MS is going to have a legal issue with Master Chief's armor being replicated.
If it was good, Nintendo would have shown us the specs. It's Gamecube III. You'll be lucky if it's as powerful at 360 or PS3.
It's pretty sad when a company launches a console and can't win E3.
My issue with Id games is that they tend to be fugly. Their artists lack inspiration. But, I doubt Rage will be a bad game. It'll be worth 60 bucks.
A fundamental problem with touch screens is that you have to touch them. I can't see myself wiping my finger on dirty glass for more than 20 seconds a day. Big games are played hours at a time.
