You seriously think that only 5 people had the game pad issue? Seriously?
I had to ask again, seriously?
Larry is definitely a liar. I mean instead of acknowledging that yes we're now in a close second and we will push through to become the number one in due time, he just outright lie about the facts.
I guess that has always been the culture of the MS corporation, with their underhanded dealings, pushing & intimidating small companies to bankruptcy since the 80s with their arrogance attitude. They just never change, even if Bill Gates is no longer in charge.
@ mosiac77, you do know that it's just an example of a single release to Amazon at a particular time, right?
Only a MS fanboy will spin it as a negative.
I like how this malokevi guy (obvious MS troll from this post history) add so many things into another person's mouth.
He only said he prefers the more powerful system and obviously don't care about other systems. Who are you to say whether XBone games or WiiU games for that matter are worth his time or not??
And he didn't make any snarky remarks on XBone games, you're the only one saying that so just cool down troll.
Just acc...
@ Bigpappy , funny you should say sales number are the only facts here.
So here's the crystal facts, as of Dec 7 Sony sold 2.4 million PS4 whereas MS sold 1.9 million XBone.
How's that for a fact? I know it's hard to swallow for XBone fanboys, but as a former MS executive once said, #Dealwithit!
And the gap will only get bigger and bigger when the PS4 is released in Asia next week and Japan in Feb. Be prepared for the incoming shi...
@s2killinit, check the post above you by Computersaysno. It explained very clearly how MS spin the data to their advantage (i.e. outright lying).
It's sad that we have articles spinning the data to make it look good for MS although given MS past history I kinda expected they will do this.
The fact is, as of Dec 7 Sony sold 2.4 million PS4 whereas MS sold 1.9 million XBone.
The final numbers are all that matters, and they have shown clearl...
@anarki,
MS may have spin the data, but the numbers are crystal clear.
In US, PS4 sold more than 1 million units in 24hrs, whereas MS only sold 700K in 24hrs and 9 days later sold 900K units.
As of Dec 7, PS4 had 2.4 million units worldwide whereas XBone is at 1.9 million units.
And the gap will get bigger as PS4 is launching in Asia next week and in Japan in Feb. I just hope Sony can have enough supply for these launches sin...
@ Mikey32230,
The numbers are CRYSTAL clear, as of Dec 7 Sony sold 2.4 million PS4 whereas MS sold 1.9 million XBone.
Yes, I know the numbers are hard to swallow for you, and be prepared to see the gap getting bigger and bigger when the PS4 is launched in Asia next week, and launch in Japan in Feb.
I really hope Sony can produce enough to meet all the demands from various countries, as it is now severely supply constrained.
Up to this point, it doesn't really matter who launch first or in what number of countries etc, the final sold numbers speak for themselves.
Sony sold 2.4 million PS4 up to 7 Dec.
MS sold 1.9 million XBone up to 7 Dec.
The numbers are CRYSTAL CLEAR, however MS wanted to spin the data.
@elit3nick, dmeador, chrisw, he's just stating the facts.
FACT is PS4 had the biggest launch of ALL systems.
FACT is PS4 is the fastest selling console compared to XBone.
FACT is as of 7 Dec there is 2.4 million PS4 and only 1.9 million XBone.
FACT is the PS4 is supply constrained, whereas XBone is availabe everywhere even the day 1 editions.
I believe when MS launched XBone in US, they oversupply the uni...
@ mcstorm, the point is MS DID NOT sell better. Period. Apparently you missed the memo.
PS4 sold MORE THAN 1 million in 24hrs and XBone sold UPTO 900K in 9days!
I hope you can do the maths, though seeing your reply I may have doubts.
As usual MS likes to spin the data to their advantage, in other words, outright lying.
MS only managed to get close to PS4's 1 Dec number on 11 Dec, a 10 days difference.
It...
So... PS4 2.1 million on Dec 1st whereas XBone up to 2 million on Dec 10.
There's a gap of 10 days meaning PS4 could be at 2.9 million by now?
@LeCreuset, just ignore JeffGUNZ, no point arguing with him as his post history clearly shows he's a MS fanboy.
I doubt you'll ever see him in a MS post saying how it is pointless that MS break so and so records, or how it is pointless to be number 1 in so and so top charts etc.
@ nukeitall, how can demand be artificially high when Sony is still struggling to meet the pre-order quantity?
The PS4 will be launched in Asia this month, which will drive up further demand.
And the PS4 will also be launched in Japan in Feb which I would say to fully expect blockbuster sales as well.
Plus between now to Feb, Sony still need to produce enough units to fulfill pre-order, to put decent amount of units on retail shelves in US, E...
The external HDD will be overpriced like what has happened on XB360.
The cloud storage is only for game saves? Why would MS allow you to store installed games on cloud when you can just re-download them from the online store?
If the games average at 40GB each, you can only store 8.
You actually believe MS would in the future allow you to upgrade HDD without voiding warranty?
Seriously?
I like how when someone is being called out as a XBox fanboy and then he countered that argument by saying he own PS1, PS2, PS3 etc, as if this single statement would somehow automatically made his comments accurate.
You are what you posted, period. People can see based on your post history which is nothing but singing praises for MS. A so-called "owner" of PS consoles that keeps rooting for MS? Yeah sure, cows can fly too!
Sony created the PS4 base on feedback and recommendation from various developers, so the argument that it is more complicated to develop for doesn't make sense at all.
The PS4 had the architecture of a PC whereas the XBone with the special ESRAM and no GDDR5 RAM, is as far away from a PC design as can be.
Which specific area did they say it's complicated?
MS can't/wouldn't release their numbers simply because it is MUCH lower than Sony's.
MS sold around 200K plus in Europe and 790K plus in US on 22 Nov.
Sony sold 1.1 million in US on 15 Nov and 700K plus in Europe on 29 Nov.
By 1 Dec, on a worldwide scale, Sony sold 2.1 million units meaning an additional 300K on top of above numbers.
At best, we assume XBone is selling as fast as PS4, meaning 300K, total is still ...
@ outside of the box, if Sony isn't supply constrained they would have sold more than 5 million units at this rate.
