@Mikelarry, the answer to your question is simply... M$'s arrogance.
Regardless of whether they actually sell anything, they just want to have a presence in Japan and not felt left out, even if it means losing money there (which they did for the xbox, xbox360 and now the xbone).
To not push their own product in a major country that will sell large quantities of their direct competitor's products is to loose face. And M$ being the arrogance they have a...
@prodg52,
I've been playing the Sega Genesis Collection on my PS Vita ever since I've gotten it during launch. The game was transfered to PSV via my PS3.
The Midway Arcade Treasures, however, cannot be transfered to PSV previously but now it can :-)
Agreed.
It's not on equal ground if one is sold in lesser days in the month and the other sold for more days PLUS include PC sales.
Is there a comparable figure showing the same number of sale days for both systems and exclude PC sales?
If the PC Titanfall sale is negligible as some of you put it, why even include in the sales figure if it didn't sway the results one way or the other?
Might as well just show the xbone sales, put it at number 1 and remove all doubts on whether it is higher or lower than ISS for PS4 right?
Fact is, I believe there is a very high chance if we minus the PC sales, it will drop below the current number 2 game.
@Kribwalker,
By end Apr, I would say PS4 at 8 million++ whereas xbone around 4 million or below.
@tordavis
Er no, they downgrade the Supercomputer version to make the PC version.
See how that goes? Even the PC versions (yes, more than one) varies from a $7000 setup all the way down to a $300 setup.
If you want to compare, you have to compare apples with apples. Which in this case, if you still don't get it, between the console versions.
Actually, the worse fanboys are from MS.
There, I said it!
Saw that comment too.
He looks to be a MS shill, so I doubt he will leave this site at all, more like delete the old one and just create a new account and continue his MS propaganda.
I saw that post too.
SMH, that kid was like a perfect example of a diehard MS fanboy/shill; illogical, arrogant, unable to reason with, constant denial of any news or facts that go against his own thinking.
With the PS4 in short supply, and MS actively spending $$$ and resource in promoting the Titanfall bundled, discounts, hype etc on the xbone version and yet it still fall short of the PS4 in its own stronghold country, no less. This only means 1 thing, xbo...
What's with the "You can't talk bad about Sony on here" comment? Are you a MS shill? Because only a MS shill would say this to support another MS fanboy.
Starchild link an endgadget article that said the bottom opening can be covered up by adjusting the headset so obviously he himself didn't even read the article.
The display is 1080p, so I would guess it's just the demo graphics have a lower res hence the remarks by the reviewer. <...
Agree with biggest, I like how since Xbone fan boys now can't argue about who sold the most, instead they divert attention to quarterly profits and claim MS "won".
The fact is MS has always been subsidising the Xbox division, covering the actual loss with profits from Android loyalty fees, from other divisions etc. This is the reason why some investors suggest to break up or selling it off since MS will have more profit without the Xbox division pulling it down....
Erm, yes they will still sit at Store shelves if no one is buying them.
This makes sense, upto 3 million sold with another 900K sitting in store shelves by end Dec. This coincides with various reports that Xbone is available everywhere, unlike PS4 which is still sold out.
I believe by now PS4 should have already pushed 5 million units, with Xbone at around 3.6 million?
@kill, what are you talking about? The PS4 was launched in most countries MUCH LATER than xbone.
One sold 4.1 million worldwide, the other sold 2.9 million worldwide, who sold more?
Use that sense of yours, seriously.
And then seeing that the xbone is losing real bad they may even create an article suggesting MS to buy over Sony.
Oh wait...
@ausbo, and the PS4 only started selling in Europe 1 wk AFTER xbone, plus selling in Asia only from 15 to 19 Dec onwards.
@jazz,PS4 only launch in US 1wk before xbone, all other countries it launched 1 to 3 weeks AFTER xbone.
Plus xbone already launched in the countries that would buy it, adding another 50 countries may only increase the figure by a single percentage point or so.
I'd say they will hit 6 million by end Jan and 8 million plus by end Feb (due to JPN launch)
@ devil will cry, MS already launched in all the countries that would buy a xbone.
If it's launched in rest of the world, it won't add much to the overall figure, probably a single digit percentage or so.
Did a quick scan of this "alexkoepp" user and almost every single one of his posts are praising M$ and dissing Sony, Apple and all of M$ competitors etc.
One of his posts even stated:
PS4: 37M
XB1: 225M
This just shows how out of touch he is, so the conclusion is, we can safely ignore ALL his posts. No point arguing with a M$ diehard fan, they will just pull you down to their level and beat you with experience.
