X is still a trade show. Which is mainly for the press.
PSX is mainly for the fans/community.
Sony still has all these studios working on unannounced PS4 titles.

Its just not a smart business decision for both Capcom or Microsoft to make an exclusive deal even if Microsoft had more money or didn't have the non-crossplay policy.
Xbox One is not selling well in Japan let alone worldwide. Japan is the second biggest market for Street Fighter. PS4 is pretty much even with Xbox in U.S. but PS4 will always have Japan. Plus, PS4 has a larger userbase.

Of course Sony purchased 3rd party exclusives in PS1 era. How else can they get their foot in the industry.
Microsoft is purchasing exclusives because they didn't invest in 1st party studios like Sony has.
Perhaps its a logo for Sonys new 3D Audio technology for the Morpheus.
Maybe they plan on implementing that technology to future and/or current headsets?
EDIT: Now that I look at again theres nothing in this logo that looks or represents anything 3D lol. Would be cool if they did implement that new tech though. Sound is a key component for me.

If you know anything about business and financing than you should know Sony is still a long way from bankruptcy.
Yes it is a fact they are not making much profit. $1.08Billion to be exact and $8.08 billion dollars on hand as of May of 2014.
They are $12.52 Billion in debt. Which most people think is a lot but as an investor as myself its not hard for Sony to overcome.
Their market cap is abysmal low however. Thats what So...
