It sucks when your favorite game franchise and controller of all time is exclusive to a company that's apparently composed entirely out of clueless non-gamer idiots that can't design a decent console.
Exactly. I don't know why this comes as a surprise. Very few people are interested in pre-ordering cross-generation games for the current gen consoles. Like you said, people are holding out for the XB1/PS4 versions.

I think having the logo etched into the case is really neat. I like it. The amount of green is a little excessive though.
And here I had high hopes for this game after seeing what a masterpiece Generations was... I mean, is it really that hard to keep things simple and fun? Sure, a few small changes here and there are good, but these clunky, awkward gimmicks that drastically change the core gameplay seem to be doing more harm than good.
I'll still rent it just to give it a try, but now it seems that I'll be going in knowing I'll be disappointed. Sigh...

In regards to this platform/console war, it's because people are stuck in this delusional mindset that "having the right to your opinion" means that you can unfairly criticize others for theirs. That, or people are so far removed from a normal social life that they have nothing better to do than to bash things they don't like on the internet. Maybe a bit of both.

I managed to do the very first mission racing Lamar but that's as far as I got before it kicked me off. Now it's telling me my character can't be loaded. Sigh... No biggie though, this wasn't exactly unexpected.
I know your pain. My laptop can't run Gamecube or PS2 games any faster than 50% speed. That's why I said to hell with it and ordered a gaming laptop. I can't wait til it gets here next week lol.
