The multiplayer will NOT be halo1s classic multiplayer (which arguably is the best, I prefer 2, but that would probably change if I ever had the chance to play H1 competitively, which I never got because no LAN parties went on where I lived, and we didn't have XBL) DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNN XBL.

Are you sure? Halo ones framerate used to drop alot when there was alot of action on screen (I use to love it, it felt like it was going in slow motion, this was before I knew what framerate was). I haven't played the downloadable version myself but i definitely remember framerate drops in the original.
