Don't forget the online integration with forza2motorsport.net, online racing and tournaments and of course the auction house. Hopefully GT5 can trump all this next year, but then they'll have Forza 3 to worry about. I'm hoping with Forza 3 they bring a GT5 lighting system into the game. What a lot of people don't realize is that the lighting and reflections in GT5P does have the job of making the graphics look better.

This not only includes LIVE, but also studio owned LIVE servers, websites that use the LIVE api and even Zune. Let's say PS3 outsells Xbox 360 by 300,000 a month for the year of 2008. Let's also say that the 360 is selling at least 250k per month. That would put PS3 at 550k per month. Yeah it's far fetched but just for the sake of argument. 360 is at 18mil and PS3 at 10mil.
12 x 550,000 = 6.6million PS3's sold for 2008 with a total installed base of 16.6 million by the end of 2008.

GTAIV will sell more on 360 because 360 owners BUY GAMES!! Stop using 'installed base' as an excuse. PS3 has 10+ million installed base and R&C didn't even move 500k. Uncharted, a great game, crawled to the 1 million+ sales. As much as people are hyping MGS4, I have my doubts that it will even sell 1 million the first week. I'd say 800k+ the first week.
