what? Sony came out the other day and said that PS4 will be economically healthier to them than PS3 in its early years.
even in Sony's FY2012 earnings report, they said that the PlayStation division would remain flat this year due to R&D then go back to profitability in the following years.
clearly Sony does, and boy will it pay dividends
Software_Lover got it
I CLEARLY said Sony. Microsft have never asked for an online pass for because you already pay for Live.
if online passes weren't a way of trying to get money from used games, then what were they used for?
I want to clarify that I'm talking about Sony and Microsoft as publishers; first party.
Sony can't ask for online passes anymore because they charge for online, it was obvious.
I don't read all the articles sure but at least I don't walk into the comments and then comment like I've read the article.
but if it works for you then I guess it's all good.
"stole your virginity"
the story of Mankind.
and remember how amazing the jump from inFamous to inFamous 2 was?
I remember Sucker Punch saying that they were only using about 50%-60% (can't remember exact number, but it was around there) of the PS3s power for inFamous 2!
very underrated devs!
not cool.
kinda makes you think of how Sony could've added a beefier GPU and still maintained a console cheaper than Xbox One.
I think Square should offer PS4 players exclusive content or something. a lot of people bought their PS3s just to play this...
that sucks a bit. I had no interest in PS3 until I saw Versus XIII and I bought PS3 just to play it.
whatever though. as long as it's not gimped by inferior hardware a-la Final Fantasy XIII
but it's no secret that Sony has the biggest 1st party portfolio. so big that they're providing great support to THREE consoles simultaneously.
with PS4, the games WILL come, it's just inevitable.
that reasoning is silly.
in that case Xbox One + XBLG + VAT = +$600 easy.
Eye is not mandatory, while Kinect is so Microsoft had no choice but to bundle it with X1.
PS4 IS 399, no matter how you spin it. if you like Xbox One more out of just being a fan of MS, then you don't have to hide it beneath spin.
you have 5 bubbles.
no
we can all respect that.
I was just like you but I will give Sony a chance. the fact that the PS4 is still cheaper than Xbox One with PS+ included, is awesome.
and on top of that, you get awesome F2P games on PS4. at leastt the $60 is being justified
so is this like XBL where everything is only accessible once you pay the $60 or is it just the MP portion, leaving apps like Netflix free?
it would've looked better if the whole console had the glossy finish of the top part of the console.
I think it's wronf to charge people for online, but then again PS+ softens the blow with all those free games.
if your PS+ membership carries to PS4,PS3 & Vita simultaneously then I won't mind at all. all those free games, can't complain!
Sony will be making PS4 available to many more territories and it seems as though there's more interest in it than in Xbox One.
first year could be very disappointing for Microsoft.
