Yeah they are linear, and most of the time the enemies are displayed on the map before you get to them.
Completely disagree with the review. The HUD and controls are very good. Graphics are average. Gun models look nice. While there isn't much variety, I enjoy the campaign much more than most linear campaigns. Keep in mind I don't play these type of games for the story, which isn't anything new.
Yeah I had no interest in Day Z, and this alpha is my first experience with ARMA. Overall I came away very impressed. It's more like Operation Flashpoint: Red River than Battlefield.
I couldn't get into a decent mp match, but the showcase missions are very fun!
I took my SIM card out cause it was causing frequent freezing issues.
I thought the game was awesome. I played the later PS3 version and didn't notice many technical issues.
Fewer sidequests?
I hope MP isn't just a big rocket fest. Explosive weapons should be pick-ups only.
A wider line and objectives that could be completed in a different order would be cool. I want it to have distinct levels though. I think the original Killzone has the best Campaign.
If GG's launch game wasn't a Killzone game, I wouldn't be as excited for a PS4.
Killzone:Merc and PS4 remote play certainly won't hurt.
DLC and micro-transactions are good. The only time I don't like it is when there's day 1 DLC, or even worse, locked content on the disk.
Congratulations!
blitz that's because the U.S. always had this price drop. The price for a Vita is now equal in both countries. New Japanese price is $217 US dollars.
The killzone trilogy has all 3 main games. Get that and play KZ2 first, then 3, then 1HD. KZ3 isn't nearly as bad as I see people saying it is.
I feel the same way. I like how secondary fire is back, but it looked as if the guns had zero sway or recoil to them. Also, Killzone is known for having to blast helghast with several rounds in order to take them down. In the demo they would go down way too easily.
PGR is my favorite racing game, and I expect this game to be similar. I'm getting this and Killzone.
Yes you can still use onlive. The few good games that it did get were really fun to play on the service. The share features that the PS4 are very similar to what onlive has been doing. I'm excited to see how well they can do it.
Should be a good year for Killzone fans!
It's very twitch-based unless you're playing with scrubs who can't aim.
