What I'm wondering about are the "casuals" who don't know and won't find out about the X1 policies until they purchase it..
There has been an undeniable negative reaction overall to the X1, but will there be a second "wave" once people find out about the online checks / DRM for themselves?
On topic, I don't think MS will change their DRM policies, however I think there will be a price drop soon after launch.
I'm holding out for GT5 (obviously), and Motorstorm Apocalypse for my arcade-ey racer!
I don't know about Halo vs COD, but what I'd like to see someday is an FPS of either of those games' caliber, but with cross-platform matches.

It's like they're turning their game time into work. And for what? Bragging rights? I'm laughing at anyone who flaunts their gamer score / trophy count.
I like getting a trophy or something, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get one.
Maybe those people actually find that kind of grind fun, and to them I say; enjoy your games however you like. To the people that brag about their scores? Not so much. hahah
...would I be caught dead wearing any of that!

... but I'm still dissapointed to hear that the loading issue wasn't rectified after the beta. The fact that there are framerate drops doesn't help.

With that being said though, the fun of racing and relative ease of creating a good track still outweigh the negatives for me.
Elder Scrolls IV is my all-time favorite video game ever. If I had to choose but one game I could play for the rest of my life, Oblivion would be it. Please Bethesda, just announce it already! I don't care if it's another 3 years 'till it's released, just let us know that it's in the works.
Hitman 5 as well. I read that this one is in development, and will NOT tie-in with an upcoming movie sequel. (thank you devs)
I loved the beta, especially how easy it was to create a nice track. People will not need to invest even a fraction of the time and effort that creating a level in LBP did, which means.. more great tracks!
I hope they can patch in something to reduce the load times though. It won't stop me from playing.. I'll just reach for my beer between races a bit more I guess.
