had Sony kept a single price point, and lowered the system to $299 before Killzone 2 dropped...that game would have easily sold more than 2 million units. Sony is getting the point by putting themselves in great position.
Uncharted 2 is poised to surpass all of the previous PS3 games, in terms of sales. However, it's an adventure game, and should not be put in the same light of shooters. I know this will happen anyway, so I guess I can say: YES, Uncharted 2 can become a Killzo...
I do own a PS3 and 360, but my preference is the PS3. With that being said...I don't see Uncharted 2 as the GOTY. (Modern Warfare 2 should receive the crown)
These awards are all opinion based, as there is no real criteria to go by. One site will pick this game, and another will pick that game, bottom line: to be nominated is the real award. Modern Warfare 2 (Going off Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare) will be game of the year, and shouldn't even be close.
Games like, Uncharted 2, Ratchet, Halo: ODST, and Madworld, should go under the Best of the year for all exclusive games. I loved the 1st Uncharted and expect the 2nd to be awesome. However, Modern Warfare 2 to be dominant. Simply put...THIS IS A MUST OWN AND SYSTEM SELLER! (EVEN MORE SO THAN HALO.)

All Sony really needs to do is drop GOW 3 and GT5 this year...and it's a rap on the comp. (before you cry...I had both next gen systems....and Sony is better for me.) Man, you can only play so much Halo. Besides, Call of Duty 4 is killing ANY console shooter out there....and thats on PS3 also.

Playstation 3 has plenty of games and other great options, NOT on other competitors systems. It was just hard for my friends (I got my PS3 at launch) to put down that kind of dough, until they saw a ton of blu Ray movies, price drops on HDTV's (We roll with Panasonic Plasmas!), and Sony exclusives.
NOW, the price is "sweet" at $299. Also, there are MUST OWN Blu Ray movies out there, with FREE...

I didn't get into Halo 3, until the price of the 360's fell down. Also, I do not and never will, buy multiplayer map packs and downloadable contnent. JUST WAIT A BIT...AND IT WLL COME AT A BARGIN.
PS3 was very expensive at launch. I bought one, but understand why others would rather wait for a Wii, 360, or cheeper price. Halo is not ripping people off...doesn't work that way people. MS OFFERS HALO.

I am a big person to admit that the Xbox 360 has produced a great series in Halo. ODST is takes me back to Halo: Combat Evolved...with is known as one of the greatest games on a console. The story, musical score (Bungie is the best at this...and, they should get Grammy level recognition for the soundtracks.), and even the graphics have been improved.

MAN, I BOUGHT A 360 ELITE (NEED A SHOOTER SYSTEM WITH MY PS3). I rented the critically acclaimed Halo 3 and it was pretty good (I LOVED Halo: Combat Evolved, but did not like Halo 2.), so I bought Halo: ODST. I am a PS3 fan, and ABSOLUTELY LOVE ODST!!
