People just suck at using it so they make other excuses to bash it.
PC gaming is like going to the theaters and opting for the 3D or IMAX version of a movie, You're still watching the same movie the problem is what was movie made for or this case what platform said video game was made for.
Nothing will work if there is a compile error. You mean warnings.
At lease I get to play the game with no problems because it was made for it. You can get your gimmicky features when the game gets "fix".

They make one bad game.... no I mean port and now they are the worst company comparable with Ubisoft. Come on guys calm the fuck down. Nobody in DC, Rocksteady, WB wanted a bad game to be released they are working hard so you PC elitists can be happy.

You try and make of these scale for all major consoles and PC. You try to take in account what kind of parts a user is going to use.
As a real gamer I dont care if a game runs at 60 fps as long it plays good and I have been having fun with it while on my ps4. You can have your gimicky FXs.
Plot twist it will go on to kickstart, so if it does not live up to expectations their would be "they didn't have enough money for a true sequel". Just like Shemnue.

The real reason why there is no true backwards compatibility because it won't make them any money. Why make a system that is BC when you make money on a "Remastered" version. As much I hate that it's a business thing.
This is pretty cool I'm becoming a programmer and most of my teachers were former game programmers and they talked a lot of memory conservation. They are also noticing how currents developers are becoming somewhat lazy because of all memory we have now. We now have 50 gb bluray with over 5 gb RAM theres not much need to conserve or make complicated algorithms to save memory.
It's true 14 years is a bit long everybody will be expecting so much out of it. The only reason Shenmue 1 & 2 was so popular because it was first of it kind nowadays we have so many open world games out there Shenmue 3 would just be another.
This is what's wrong with PC gaming you'll have to worry whether or not your computer can run said game.
Some people I know didn't have problems playing the game while others do. This is why consoles are better because developers know what everyone have spec wise where as PC gamers so-so graphics card or so-so CPU or so-so ram.
Good thing I brought the PS4 version... Console Master Race..
