I'm still waiting for SAO type VR since the 90s.
They really need to stop with this series or at lease give it a break. Nothing big happen in the series since Desmond died and abstergo just became video game company.

I hate when people point out little things about characters in games. Why point out the character is female? What makes a character strong/deep? Why do authors in these types of articles think we need these type of characters in games?

What I'm trying to say is these kind of VR should have the norm AND in the market by now. Lazer tracking 15x15 room tracking has been thing for sooooooo long they just now incorporated into VR.
I'm waiting for SAO type VR before I get into this fad. This kind of technology has been around for so long the only thing that change is the graphics, it doesn't look like ps1 era.
As long the game run as intended I don't care about frame rate.
I miss the long winded cutscenes that made MGS popular.

All I get from these articals is developers are lazy and won't take the time to learn a new coding architecture. We have games like gta5 , uncharted, last of us being made for the ps3 and they say the system is hard to develop for.

I never understand in games why people prefer Japanese audio (unless thats your native language) when now you have worry about subtitles and being distracted with subs instead what's happening on the screen

we made fun of the "press X to pay respects" thing with COD but aren't games like this just have "move forward to continue story" mechanic. How are these more immersive/engaging then a zombie game or whatever?
