I do love Aloy and got into her a lot more than I ever got into Lara, even in the new games which I think are fairly well done at forming a character for Lara.

I hope so... Hopefully theres much more to him than riding motorcycles and love for an old woman.

Guerrilla made an openly atheist narrative in the game. No one batted an eye or said anything about it. It is definitely interesting.

Do you mind if I ask why you thought so?

Personally, I liked experiencing things through her eyes vs. other protagonists I've played as. You could feel the sense of wonder throughout the game to me because it was played well she was discovering it as you were.

What do you think of the pictures in the article? I thought the pic itself highlighted her badassery pretty well

True, but I'm hoping this also means they begin porting 3DS games to Switch too with their change of expectations now they realize it can be successful.

to sell 13.5 million units in one year's time is more than they have sold in 5 years time... yes, that is an accomplishment.

3250d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yeah, I have no doubts it will be more successful if they keep the ball rolling.

It was more about how Nintendo is increasing production with that kind of expectation. Which was not how they had been approaching the system good or bad.

I'm inclined to agree. If they sold through 2 million in a month, that's 11.5 million all of next fiscal year. Even the Xbox One with much more negative reactions to it did that in the first couple years.

You can stream old old ps4 games on PC and play new one so through remote play. Still need a console, but you effectively always have an option of a place to play PS4 games whence yo buy one. That's pretty cool without giving up the reason to buy a PS4.

Xbox Play Anywhere is a good option as well. Then you hardly have any need to buy an Xbox One.

No normal women took it seriously? Then who were the people who were responding to him?

"you take a day that means jack shit way too seriously. Go thank the women because vagina. The fact they have a job should be thanks for the hard work they do. They aren't entitled to a whole day of pampering and worship."

Go thank women because vagina. That is an amazing thought you put together there. Please tell me more. /s

Ugh. three quick things:

1. If in 3 months, they have not replaced each of those subscribers then there is a trend happening. You cannot base an idea of "bleeding subscribers" on less than a week's worth of data. He is one personality. They will live with maintaining 85+% of their fanbase as it stands right now.

2. There is nothing in my previous post to say I speak for Gaf or Kinda Funny. I am not a posting member of Gaf, I just peruse and ...

What do you mean @I_am_Batman? There are multiple leaders in multiple nations who say the wrong thing all the time and never leave power. How is it unsafe to say something outside of Groupthink? This isn't 1984. Colin was free to make his tweet. People freely responded in support, in ambivalence, in disappointment, in jest, and some without any form of appreciation for his input on that day. That is everything working exactly as it is supposed to.

It is not up to Colin...

Bruh, why do people call this hypersensitivity. People have been getting fired for years for saying the wrong things in public. Hell, people impeached a President just for cheating on his wife which has nothing to do with his actual job or any of our business.

He actually has caused multiple incidents where even the community members who monitor their chats has said they hate when they cause incidents like that on Twitter. That same community also did not like he posted a joke that was meant to mock a hashtag on a day when literally every other outlet online decided to take the time to thank their female staff for the work they do. He was one of four faces of a company and you cannot make light of a day like that in that position on international w...

The Nintendo Switch cannot play any dedicated video or record it at launch. It also does not have an external HD or online private matchmaking service at launch. PS4 outlined all of those months before launch as features that even if they were not there, they would be coming. Example, Suspend/Resume was announced at reveal and was added later on.

Also, Transistor is a game I played on my PS4, the iPhone also has it on its App Store.

Your statement is that Japanese games ruled the industry is not incorrect. Nintendo ruled the industry. Sega ruled the industry. These are Japanese companies. However, it is not a shock that most of the top selling games from third party developers happened after the brand of PlayStation gave them space to shine. It just so happens, Final Fantasy VII shined brightest in its genre, from its country, and on the best-selling platform of the generation and from that standpoint that is where I giv...

The idea of mainstream success for Japanese games in the United States comes from big exposure to Japanese games like Final Fantasy VII and the original Resident Evil 20 years ago. There is no "renaissance of the Japanese game industry" in the West without the initial spark of blockbusters like Final Fantasy VII.

That said, I can see how someone would take this to mean Resident Evil VII was a JRPG in the way the sentence is worded. That needs to be cleaned up.
