its not DMC it's DmC. same formula different game. But that aisde why are you so sure it'll be a terrible game?

wouldn't you they'll buy the game, used probably, and capcom will stil make money off them by giving them a alt skin dlc.
Of course alt skin dlc is pretty much nothing compared to say having extra missions in the game so nobody can really bash a company for selling something so small
if that were to happen capcom would have created a miracle considering that sort of Fd up development dante has had throughout the whole sseries. hownthey fit the story into the original series i don't even know.
This is why it's good to think about a sequel beforehand. To make sure that as you transition plots plotholes are less common on both sides and character development doesn't end up like DMC4 dante.
i would hold out if i were you. MTG is a good game no doubt but don't just blindly buy it 2012 came with pretty bad bugs, that were never fixed might i add, and the rules were flawed.
Aside from that there was no community support at all from the mods side so nothing really got fixed. Hold out and c heck the game throughly before you buy it even if its cheap theres no excuse for a company to ignore the fans.
issue with free to play is pay to win. But i hope more games start taking the free to play model because pay to win or not if the games good im putting time into it.
it also helps that they finished the engine, GT5s of course, which is the main reason GT5 took so long. Aside from that kaz said the cars, premium, are future proof so it shouldn't be much to port them over.

the developers for MAG didn't support it enough and socom4 was less then stellar so yeah they were closed down. on-line passes are optional, for developers, and really DON'T ADD cost to new or used games, a used game would cost some $54 with the online pass thats $64 about the same as brand new games.
those aren't verey valid reasons for why sony doesn't care. I'm sure someone else can find alot better reasons then the one you gave.

"Sony asked Nintendo to help them and it didn't work out" IIRC Sony asked nintendo if THEY wanted their help, they were trying to get a partnership with nintendo to make dvds,cds,etc for their home consoles. Nintendo refused and kept to cartidge.
I probably didn't word all that correctly but sony didn't go to nintendo for help. they went to nintendo to add the ability for consoles, by nnintendo, to read cds. I'm pretty sure its even in the wiki thou...

wait why yare you comparing PS2 to dust. They might have similar concepts but one is a console game the other PC.

edit: one thing thats confused me however is why dust isn't on PC, that really confused me. I'm a hardcore console player but even i know one platform can't sustain a game like dust, see MAG as an example. If it was on PC then when the player count on PS3 diminis...

DMC4 was one of those games that could have really and i mean REALLY benefited from being much longer. I would explain it but i feel it's better in something like a pm
@rezzah sparda and eva are in the game too. Only thing changed is that dante isn't half demon half human he's half demon half angel. Could be due ot the fact in the old series eva, dante's mom, didn't really have a background story.
