i got heavy rain for my girlfriend in what was another failed attempt to get her into gaming. the game was "different" certainly not my cup of tea, and i cant see me picking up their next game if it anything like it.

listen i am a battlefield fanboy, but this whole close quarters 16 player stuff stinks. i play battlefield instead of cod for obvious reasons. but i think it is fair to say that bf3 is by far the worst of the franchise.
without doubt the worst maps so far, terrible balancing, an eternity to fix it and now this.
i am whining, because it hurts to see a great franchise fall. the bad companys slaughter this. rip battlefield.

i think it was pretty obvious that bungie had lost interest in halo. i love reach, but the multiplayer maps have pretty much killed it for me.
it has taken a new studio to do some much needed things to the franchise... i for one cannot wait to get my hands on this game

i dont think there is enough room in the market for a fourth console. even though valve have some great franchises, team fortress, counter strike, half life, l4d etc , who else is going to support their hardware?

i think that i would rather see valve work harder on a new source engine, and release more games in a quicker time frame on...

the ps2 was still expensive after 5 yrs because there was no need to cut the price of something that was selling millions per month.
the ps3 on the otherhand was overpriced (in the eyes of the consumer who doesnt know better), and sony were forced to cut its price several times. the only reason it is still the most expensive is because sony cant afford to lose more cash on it... no other reason
and i feel sorry for anyone that needs to slate last gens competing console.... jesus fanboys need to get a grip.
in all honesty, i had 2 ps2s last gen and 1 xbox, and the xbox destroyed it imo! just the fact that the ps2 had all the 3rd party mega franchises.

listen, we all know that dice have made some great battlefield games, but bf3 is not in the same class as those!
face it, dice have lost plot! bf3 is by far the worst battlefield that i and after visting the forums many others have played.

well seeing as the ps1 and ps2 both utterly destroyed their rivals, it is really not a great achievement to have "reduced" the gap that was there at launch. especially as the ps2 launched way after the dreamcast....and look where sega are now
