My brother in law HATES rpgs. But for years he has watched me play final fantasy games. He has always commented on how he could not get into them because of how much there was to do and how exploring is boring and so on.
Then comes FF13. The only FF game I hated so much that I refused to finish. And he plays it and loves it. He actually got pissed when I sold it.
My point is the FF franchise which already has a massive fanbase abandoned everything that ma...
This is the world we live in. No system is 100%secure and all credit cards are at risk.
I have had two credit cards and two bank debit cards from different banks compromised and replaced just from using them at retail stores such as JC Penney, and khols. As long as there are hackers this form of fraud will remain.
An exclusive map for a preorder is what splits the community. It is bound to happen eventually with dlc maps, but to do right from the games launch date is stupid.
I always preorder from amazon. I live an hour from any place that sells video games so $.99 release date delivery beats waisting gas and I dont have to waist the time to get there and back. Plus most games I buy have 10 to 20 bucks in store credit. Although I do have to agree that preorders giving out exclusive weapons and other incentives related to gameplay can create unbalanced MP.
Only if you are a stock holder.
Remember when square enix said they had almost another whole games worth of content that didnt make it into ff13? Everyone thought they would use that as DLC. Instead they will use that content to make a bunch of money off a sequel to the most terrible FF I have ever played.
I would gladly set up a game room like that. But my wife would slap the piss out of me.
I have high hopes for this game. I really enjoy the change of pace this series brings to what I usually play. Unfortunately with Dragon Rising the game auto saved on the same spot during two different play throughs and in doing so two members of my squad were just missing, nowhere to be found. And the other was standing in front of a turret that was part of the objective blocking my access to it. The only fix was to restart the mission and lose 2 hours of progress. After it happened the 2nd t...
@MAJ0R
The games leading developer Hidetaka Miyazaki stated in PS Magazine that "This time around there will be much more role playing and exploring as unlike its predecessor it won't be broken down into smaller levels, but will exist as much larger open worlds.
And Publisher Namco Bandai promises combat will be fearsome, with no safe harbors to rest.
Sounds good to me.
"support all big corporations blindly! :)"
Or support big corporations whose products I enjoy, since small businesses dont pump out video game consoles.
Socom is one of the only games that still gets me on the edge of my seat. When Im the last one alive on my team and there are still two or three people alive on the other team the blood really gets pumping. Very intense.
too bad ff13 was the first game in the series I didnt finish. And unless 13-2 opens up it will be the second. If I even play it.
Without the FF label it would be a decent game. But it is not a good FF game. It has very little in common with the core Ideas that made me a huge fan of the series.
FF13 let me down more than any game i have ever looked forward to. 4 or 5 years of anticipation only to be slapped in the face by a garbage FF. If this is the direction the series will take I will never purchase a ff game again.
It seems like every single player campaign gets cut in half just to tack on a terrible multi player. I do like multi player games but not when its just tossed in there and takes away from the actual game.
as terrible as this game was i still finished it. Has a 370 point achievment for completing the game. Also the frame rate took a while to get used to and as a result made all my other games look great.
what system the beta is on is irrelevant. The majority of complaints focus on the how similar it is to BC2.
been waiting for DQ9 forever and its almost here;)
Busted??? Thats not my review. Just my comment to the review.
DQ10 is one of most anticipated games also. But if they screw up this series too then I will officially be done supporting this company.
