This would all be true if it wasn't for trade ins and exorbitant digital pricing.
Sale prices are usually higher than standard prices for discs. I do buy digital but mainly on the cheap indie titles or serious mass saving offers. Digital pricing is generally exorbitant.

Why would people want to ruin a game by guessing what's in it in advance? I get that this is pure speculation but as we move towards release speculation begins to become fact as information leaks. Why would anybody want to know?

Im with you z-cba. Sometimes a story is told so perfectly it should just be left alone. The questions that are left are part off the charm of stories.
The other thing people don't mention is that games ate so huge and time consuming these days, with whole multiplayer ecosystems around them, that people don't have time to play multiple AAA products within short timeframes. With the economy still being pretty poor across much of the globe people can't necessarily stock up on hand for the future either.
Stop having multiplayer trophies for games that are primarily single player. That'd be my number one ask.
It was barely an assasins creed game and was all the better for it. Kenway by far the most interesting character, I've never understood the ezio love in tbh.
Need to grt a cheap version of the walking machines you can use with vr as that would remove mouton sickness and make a huge contribution to a feeling of being there.
