Why would they have a console refresh now, just to release ps5 in 2 years? This "gen" will last way longer than this

Its not twice as powerfull.... its has double the GPU but the SAME CPU just overclocked. 4K is Upscaled with the same assets the standard PS4 uses. So basically it allows for better AA and better Framerate.
Host just wait a few more hours and we will know it....
They release way more powerfull new hardware and need games to show it off. That is why it has a few launch games.

What do you mean with VR? Xbox VR Headsets are already released and getting games all day long (Oculus, Vive etc.).
