For Holiday 2015 i think Xbox One is the clear choice for gamers with Gears, Halo, Forza, Fable, Tomb Raider and all the 3. Party games + BC.
But we dont know every game that will come out after this for both platforms. For now it looks like an epic 2016 with Uncharted 4, Ratchet, SFV, Last Guardian and Horizon on the Ps4 and Halo Wars, Gears 4, Quantum, Crackdown, Recore and Sea of Thieves for Xbox One.

Duden calm down. Noone ever said ps4 has a bad 2016. Its just Sony themself said 2015 is sparse as of 1. Party and that is the truth. If you have your competitor Release the biggest game over both platforms and you only got 3. Party Deals going on,you know something went wrong THIS YEAR

Well Gears is already out and ppl like it. Halo 5 was playable at almost every event this year and ppl like it. The Forza 6 demo is out now and ppl like it and the Fable Legends Beta was a few months ago and ppl liked it. THAT is why others are excited for these games, because we could already play a few parts of them.

I love Bloodborne and The Order was a fun Sunday with my Girldfriend. But im more into Multiplayer games and that is why i cant wait for Halo/Forza this year. You can say Ps4 maybe has more exclusives this year but noone i know really cares about JRPGs...
