I just checked it out now and I will say you are right.. there is no other way to access that menu without quitting the game entirely.. not sure if its the same way with The Sly Collection though because I don't have the game yet at the moment
Edit: Yeah I actually checked out the select menu while playing the game and it still doesn't give you the option of going into that main menu.. its weird all this time I've had the game and I've never ...
Well regardless if they were "better" on Xbox they're still gonna be the same HD remakes.. I hear you though.. I'd prefer buying them on PS3 because I prefer the controller and because they'll all be on one disc
Edit: By the way that's the main menu of the God of War Collection.. from the game itself not the XMB of the PS3
Not only that but in my opinion it would kinda defeat the purpose of it being a "Collection" if they decided to release the games through multiple DVDs.. so yeah DL is the only way I see this happening
Yeah I feel either way the single player is going to be amazing and I'm hooked on the multiplayer just like I was when Killzone 2 was out.. I actually just stopped playing the beta now.. trying to unlock everything for the tactician class.. I wish more people would use that class and use it correctly lol
I wouldn't be surprised if they did make their way to the 360 but I think it will go the way of digital download as I highly doubt they would be able to fit the multiple games on one DVD disc

From what I recall I don't ever remember having to go back to the XMB to play the next God of War game.. I do remember having to go back to the main menu of the actual game itself but not the main menu of the PS3
From what I can remember Gamespot and IGN weren't fans of the story in Killzone 3.. I'm actually surprised because Guerilla stressed an emphasis on story and character development but I guess they fell a little short who knows? None of us have played the game yet to judge but at least they can take that feedback and improve further especially now that they know story and characters are key in a single player experience.. I still watch that "Justice" trailer that was released...
As much as I would love to see another God Of War game on the PS3 I'd really like to see Santa Monica produce a new ip first.. considering Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Insomniac and Zipper have all created new ips I think its time for Santa Monica to step up and create a new experience.. then afterward bring some more God Of War goodness
Exactly! Either way I am super excited about the system.. it is a very sexy piece of tech.. the only thing we need to know now is the price.. my guess is $250-300
I find it funny how that one guy said Sony doesn't know what to give consumers just because the PSP 2 is a multimedia device.. are you kidding? Why is it that the majority of people buy devices like androids or iphones and all that jazz? because they love to have multimedia devices! PSP 2 is no exception.. very very excited for it!
MAG is indeed a great game.. definitely one of my favorite multiplayer games on the PS3
Well I guess it differs for other people.. I know when I bought my PS3 in 07 I was playing Resistance: Fall of Man, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, The Eye of Judgement, and of course that little game known as Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.. not to mention all the multiplatform games that came out as well... after that it was onslaught of games that hasn't stopped since.. I own about 50 games right now for my PS3.. would have more but ...

not sure if thats sarcasm but in case it isn't its impossible for the game to make its way to the xbox for the simple fact that both naughty dog and the uncharted franchise are sony owned
i haven't commented in a while but holy hell is Sony on a roll! very surprised to see Killzone 3 advertising already but besides that Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3 look fuckin spectacular! soooo pumped for the lineup of games on the way!

The demo is absolutely gorgeous! Guerilla weren't kidding when they said they were gonna push the envelope on visuals. As far as gameplay goes, there was such a great variety I was lost in the demo to the point where I was so disappointed when it ended because I literally felt like I had the actual game in my PS3.
