I was shocked to see jagged edges and low quality textures all over the place. Anybody that says otherwise is fooling themselves.
In regards to Haze, looking heaps better than previous videos. Should be great when finally tweaked for the PS3 - they don't have to compromise anything.

I have to disagree in regards to Edge, yes I still have my first issue of Edge, back then their publication was all quality and insight was great. It's just when I read their stuff now, it sounds tired.

Just saw it in store. Graphics - o.k nothing special for a next gen game for a next gen console. Gameplay was ok, nothing that hasn't been done before.
As far as I'm concerned it didn't give me the same WOW factor as Halo or GoW did, when they first came out.
It now makes sense on why the spent their money on creative advertising and hype rather than trying to sell the game based on in-game graphics alone, I would have done the same.
1. DVD is a DEAD format in Japan.
2. If you don't like it buy a different brand.
3. Best thing they've done in my opinion. They did the same with the Famous Trinitron CRT a short while back and people said the same thing, now everybody wants a Bravia LCD.

Now this is different. I can see all these health farms using PS3's and this game for meditation.

though you got one thing correct, you haven't played the game.
Most of these video captures are made with God mode on, surely you must know that. This game also has heaps of combo moves, much more depth that any hack and slash.
Also I can't get into GoW, it didn't do it for me, doesn't mean it's bad, me friends love it - no offence just an opinion.
Last week my friend tried to purchase the current PS3 pack with games and two controllers but couldn't find any stock in stores - pretty much sold out where ever he rang (Melbourne, Australia - JB's, Myer, EB Games and a couple of other stores , he was told they had no more stock and are waiting for new cheaper model to hit the store some time next month.
