That’s not what he said. A game written for 30fps is difficult to change to 60 because the renderer was built with specifications of 30fps. Since the console version is separate from the pc version they couldn’t just brute force 60fps.

PC is not optimized and it takes way more power to get equal or more out of. Imagine if games were made with just the gtx 1080 or 1080ti in mind.
What mid range pc you know does 4K locked 60. Please my high end pc struggles sometimes due to developers not be able to code specifications of by pc. I usually get 50 -55 FPS on a high end pc. Yes it does depend on the game. Check any card benchmarks for 4k
I love how the author just tries to suggest they have evidence or know a ps4 version is coming. It is fair to expect a ps4 version but as a journalist you not allowed to do what fans do and guess or assume without proof.
I play NIOH on my pc but it’s an exclusive on console to ps4. When consoles say exclusive it means other consoles don’t have it. PC does not and will never compete with consoles therefore stop using pc as an excuse to exclusivity

hell no. I have been able to play most all my xbox exclusives in 4k for some time (PC 1080card) now and that's because xbox is not a system but a brand like Netflix. Most gamers still want the old days of only on one platform I think the next best thing is to have a xbox capable surface book or surface. This will allow xbox to fight against mobile and switch.

All developers engines are not equall. This aN AA BUDGET game that has to decide what to spend resources on. Resolution does equal graphics so I hope there are some smaa and high settings in this game
Really who makes these idiot articles? Halo is finally taking the time it needs to bring the ring back to it universe but destiny is finally bringing what gamers were promised although it still needs help with lore and mission advancement.
Destiny is its own game although made by ex halo developers. Halo is still king of the hill although dropping the ball several times because it has done it right more than wrong. Halo 4 shows 343 can do single player and halo 5 show 343 can do multiplayer they just need time to put it together to make their classic halo game. I would love to see 343 do another ip first fingers crossed
Xbox is not a console it's a brand/platform to Microsoft therefore it's pc , console , phones Tablets. Why does it matter if someone else is not able to play your games on their platform ?
Xbox is no longer just a console it's a brand and many gamers already play Xbox games in glorious 4k. MS is actually helping pc because most games don't hit 4k 60 even on pc except for a few and most are Xbox exclusives
The game looks great and will best on the monster or PC if you can afford it. Numbers don't matter it's just how it looks and it does look glorious. Give the beast a year and let the final sdk launch and more games will hit 4k. Gamers forget the system has not released plus I think a lot of these game engines will need to be updated to harness the pro and Beast
