It all depends on if Sony: if they can integrate psnow with psn as far as bundle price then it can work. It still has hurdles because for profit they need to be creative, having psnow on other platforms like windows or tvs will cost money. Also streaming games is not the most reliable for portable play outside of a few areas. Play anywhere will eventually take off because of the new windows unified store release but Ms still needs to prove that their new ecosystem is profitable to third parti...

That's what you would like to happen but gamers usually buy both systems eventually. Ps2 was a very great but faulty system so like the 360 gamers bought the system at least twice. Xbox is no longer about hardware because ms has decided to make windows it's gaming platform which means pc and console =Xbox. Which means the old way of who is winning consoles doesn't work but yes Sony is killing it right now for sales but more innovations are coming from Xbox
Good article but flawed. This just shows how great ms is at customizing I doubt any of these results are an indication of what to expect. There is a lot of ms hate @N4G instead of hope for gaming. It's an investor meeting. MS is bigger than gaming it's platform is more important than hardware sales but you're are right the old MS leadership use to love sales. Sony can sell 300 million PS4 and never match windows 10 + Xbox potential users. FACTS
Like every gen both system will be close by end of this gen. most people/gamers will have both systems before PS5 and xbox2. Plus with Microsoft push to have windows 10 as a platform it's really not one to one if play anywhere takes off. Still interesting to see how many gamers this gen has?

The tech it took to bring this game back to life is amazing. Fans need to appreciate the wizardry these guys used instead of complaining about scalebound. No one knows the scalebound truth but Microsoft is not the first company to cancel games.
