Sure, but difference is their game is exclusive to XBox, it's more convenient for him and MS because if he says it would do the same, that would make MS look bad, he's negotiating with MS, it's in his best interest to make MS look good, it's all business man.

Dude, he works for a 3rd party publisher, it's in the publisher's best interest that their most recognizable developer have a good business relationship with Microsoft, and I honestly do not see anything wrong with that, and that does not bother Sony at all because they know they have a brand that could help new and existing IPs become more popular, and that could lead to those games being expanded to other markets, and that includes the Xbox market.

And I don't m...

It's ok, just like Itagaki preferred XBox, it is a well known fact a developer likes certain company and console while making a game for the other, I accept that, especially from developers, executives, not so much.. If he shows favoritism towards Sony, well, can't blame him, that's where his rise to fame started, so if he wants to show favoritism, let him be.

If any of you have either P90X or Insanity, then no need for that, better to do everything mostly on your own than depending on a silly Kinect, but since some of ya being bragging about voice command, and not having to get up, here's something to keep your lazy asses up and do something, I simply go to the gym, I'm good that way lol.

Maybe he thinks he's still working for Sony he's saying that lol. But nah, but I wouldn't say much about him, he was part of the success of both PS1/2, so I guess he might do great working for Microsoft.

I know some people might call me out on this, but I think Capcom's problems started with that Nintendo exclusivity deal regarding the Resident Evil series. I know probably Nintendo gave em a lot of money to keep the franchise exclusive to GC at the cost of their potential market, since RE has being their biggest franchise, why didn't they release it as a multiplat release instead, because the PS2 version quickly outsold the GC version after a year of exclusivity, & it likely would...

@tokugawa- Seems like the real waste of time in here is you. If I remember correctly, there was Onimusha, Devil May Cry, Gran Turismo 3, Metal Gear Solid 2, Final Fantasy X. All these games released the same year as GTA3, and you're saying we had to wait til GTA3 to notice a jump? Of course it was a jump in the sandbox department, but graphics was the last thing people would think about when it comes to GTA as all the games I mentioned looked way better, so you're either blind or simp...

Capcom has done a huge amount of mistakes that so far I only have SFF4 & SFxTk. Never heard of a company that most of their devs have left to form other studios, without devs and games, Capcom is nothing but a logo with D-head execs, simple as that.

Depending on development costs, marketing, projected sales, and how much they get in return, and since Tomb Raider is a multiplat, and a big franchise, it could of sold more than it really did. A good example is R* with GTAV having profitted $800m the first 24hrs when it only costs like $265m to make, it's already over a billion. It's all business, a gambling and risky business, 4.17m RE6 copies may sound good to some people, but for Capcom it didn't meet their their sales expecta...

@joefrost00- Let me give you some history lesson, Metal Gear was born on a family line-up of computers known as the MSX, pretty introduced by Microsoft Japan, companies such as Sony, Toshiba, Yamaha and others made their own version of the MSX, very far from being born on a Nintendo machine partner.

The NES game was nothing but a heavily modified gimped version of the original game which missed a lot of content, bosses, and it's funny it's called Metal Gear without ac...

Nope, METAL GEAR was originally a MSX game, the NES game was a rip-off missing content from the original game, even the Metal Gear mech itself, which is what the title stands for, that led to the abysmal SNAKE`S REVENGE, games Kojima didn't work on, and prompted him to make METAL GEAR 2 for the MSX2, which never saw release on the NES, neither released in the US until MGS3:Subsistence for PS2. As for METAL GEAR SOLID, the beginning of the 3D games, is originally a PS game following the ev...

If the PSVTV proves them successful, then it's gonna get a lot of support, despite not being a handheld, it's still a Vita at it's core, which means they don't have too much to worry about competing in the handheld space, but in a way, Sony should give the Vita a little more of a push because the indie games I've seen on it aren't appealing to me. I think they should make mid-budget range games available to it, at least, and minimize the MH-like games, if I was Capcom,...

Dude, that's because nowadays it's too expensive to develop games, and in the case of 3rd party publishers, multiple platforms means more $$$$$, definitely has nothing to do with one version being better, if that was the case, then Kojima would of announced the game XBox exclusive long time ago, think business wise, not spec wise, no one cares fool.

4529d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It'll eventually come on PC, when they first announced the game last year, they demoed the game on a PC with current console settings, now it's a current/next gen release, PC is getting more accepted nowadays, likely it'll appear on it.

That's true, but that's because Destiny isn't Halo, if it was Halo, total different story of course, but Destiny started fully as a multiplat, so nobody has nothing to say against it.

Xbots, Xbots, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when Sony owns all of you?. My question to them.

Looks like Xbox fanburgers got owned, lol, what's your excuse this time, "we got it first", cool, nobody cares.

@hazardman-The keyword is MGS, not MG, just because there was a PC version does not mean it was not foremost a PS game. Your first MG experience happened to be on a gimped version of the original game which missed a lot of content, even the Mech, replaced by a giant computer screen, a game Kojima did not work on, and that he trully doesn't like, and PS2 received the two original MSX games in MGS3:S. What a "first experience" you had Hazard.

Kojima does not have ...

I don't mind the game being multiplat as long as it's good, I admit I didn't like the idea of some past exclusives going multiplat, it already grew on me, because for us it's just a hobby, but for Kojima & Konami, it's a business, and development cost are too high these days they have to support other platforms, either way, since it.proves more popular on PS consoles, it'll sell more on them anyways.

"digital foundry isnt trusted that much anymore"

Considering this is coming from a site that favors the 360 95% of the time when it comes to multiplats, so now that there's a PS3 advantage in what seems to be a better game than GTA4, now y'all wanna say DF is unreliable, and not to believe them.

There's a screenshot comparison on LensOfTruth(Which also favors the 360 in most multiplats), and it seems to be more in favor of the PS3 versio...
