Those graphics are beautiful.
It was too good for you?
Keep in mind I'm never returning to this article on N4G so I'll assume I'm right.
Hoop Dreams > Pulp Fiction > Forrest Gump > Shawshank Redemption
Galaxy had more then enough wow simply with the level design, the best I've seen in 3D.
@bassturd
The problem with the Metal Gear vs Metal Gear and the final boss fight is that they both should have been a lot better. There's a definite appeal if you're a fan of MGS but if you're an outsider to the series you'd probably think they were both pretty crappy, the controls for both fights were bad and the final boss not only took too long but was ridiculously repetitive and simple. Don't even get me started on the beauties, which are all contenders for worst boss fight ...
Not at all.
If all that mattered was simple entertainment I would be playing cards with a dollar store deck. A game at least needs to impress me with something if a company wants my money.
Not to mention I was simply calling him when he obviously has no clue whether it will blow anyone away.
@ kwyjibo
You know, making assumptions about being blown away is kind of trivial considering none of us has played the retail version yet.
You haven't seen the online, the focus on the all-seeing eye, the story, the movable HUD etc etc. Not to mention the techies who are impressed graphically by a developer pushing a console to it's limits and not how it looks in comparison to other games on different consoles. If all anyone really cared about were the quality of the...
Maybe the surprising part is that it looks even worse then Dead Rising?
Heck yeah! You can buy it on either PS3 or 360 online stores!
As long as you know how to use your imagination, books will always be the ultimate source for storytelling.
Gaming is not even close to storytelling in books and still trails behind movies.
The Pokemon series is quite possibly the single most brilliant franchise ever. Whoever was smart enough to realize people want basic rpgs on their handhelds to take anywhere and enjoy is one of the brightest the gaming industry has ever known.
I have a hard time calling Pokemon overrated because it does exactly what is sets out to do, provide a simpler rpg experience on a handheld. You simply catch and battle Pokemon for the majority of the game. It's executed flawlessly which is...
Ebay rules.
Thats the genius of the commercial, it turns mindless violence into something eloquent.
Read my comment again. I said they were neither easy or average.
oops
This list is littered with really fun games that aren't really worthy of being considered one of the 100 best games. Fun games just not top 100 material and it goes all the way into the top 20.
Also LTTP at #1? I mean it might be the best Zelda but the dungeons are easily, on average, the worst in the series. It's definitely top 20 but I think it's lapses in quality should keep it from the top spot.
Also Twilight Princess (a game I wouldn't put in the top 100) is on...
PLEASE don't be real.
You do realize that even if nintendo stops selling consoles at an unbelievable rate the wii will still be the top seller every month.
So true, it's kind of funny seeing it every week though.
