Because it's a bad game, and all the hype crashed down. I was also hyped by the game, it looked gorgeous and had very high production values, but the gameplay was mediocre at best.
Leaving out graphics, animations and world detail, it's one of the worst games I've ever played, and the most disappointing.
All the missions are, go there, speak to that, bring that one tied. Oh a shootout! Press L2+R2 till everybody dies. Go back, here, you have 50usd. Money doesn't matter, clothes, horses, guns, feel all the same.
Just give Microsoft another chance. Chance number 27. You never know.

I played until chapter 4, and the story didn't advance, was in the same place as the beginning, no change

That's relative. To me racing simulators play leagues better than this fantasy arcade game.

If it means higher revenue for them, and it doesn't affect normal gameplay, do it. That means more kickass games like Devil May Cry, Survival Horror Resident Evil, megaman, etc. Series that were almost abandoned because of lower than expected sales. If they get too greedy and affect gameplay people will let them know, like they did with battlefront.

Because their games are to sell more consoles, not to make a lot of money, by selling consoles they gain market share and profit from third parties.
