The game was going to look like that independently of covid. We have seen better looking games release like tlou2 and ghost of tsushima, and upcoming like Cyberpunk. All of them looked better than halo years before.

Yeah, it looked like a poor man's version of doom.
The 2 minutes villain monologue at the end of the halo demo sounded like taken out from a little kids cartoon show.
I think it's good for poor people that wants to pay gamepass and have a lot of old and low quality games.
I would assume CP2077 world is over skin color discrimination, and more towards artificial enhancement, social class, and faction discrimination.

I get that, but it didn't work for me. I didn't care about Abby's story. Also having to play 15 hours to see how the cliffhanger in the theater plays out.
The problem I had, was that it forced me to play a character I hated, and felt absolutely no empathy with Abby and her goals. That led me to play 20 hours with no motivation. It was a slow torture.
Also, too much forced LGBT masculine women. The 3 heroes are a lesbian, a transexual (Lev) and a woman with the body of a muscular man.

Travel in time to 20 years ago, hire good studios and let them do the best games they can without getting in their way with forced ideas.
