I cant see Sony making a mistake of that magnitude again, the ps4 will probably be like the ps3 in terms of technology but maybe with 2 cell processors and the rest of the components to make the cells work proper without bottlenecking them (im not all that knowledgable when it comes to gpu's, cpu's memory etc lol)
I will be the one to say what everyone (no matter how much you disagree, deny or take bubbles away)knows, Sony is in the sh1t because of Blu Ray.
They used every dollar and more on investesting in blu ray, and so far it is far from paying off. Its keeping the cost of the ps3 un competitve as well as losing money on every ps3 sold, the actual stand alone player isnt selling all that well and what has finally fcuked it up for them is the downturn in the global economy.

too little too late in my opinion, as i have no doubts that home will be good and every ps3 owner will enjoy what it will bring to the table, i cant see people say "Damn i need to get a ps3, its got home!"
Its come at least a year too late, Sony needed to strike when the iron was hot and the ps3 was outselling the x360, now i just see it as money wasted which could have saved a few of those 8000 + jobs

The first one is one of the most under rated games around, it was fun, addictive one of the best games to be finely balanced with the achievements. And the two player co-op made it even better.
This time around it needs to have a bit more variety on the missions tho.

Although those games you mentioned didnt score in the 90's, most of them did score in the 80's which in my opinion, is not a flop.
Alot of sites gave ng2 and lost odyssey the same score as resisitace 2 so are you saying that one of the ps3 most hyped game is a flop too?

This is because a large portion of uk devs develop for Sony and apart from MGS4, sales on the ps3 have been lacklustre compared to their counterparts.
