The problem with the twist was it was cheap. The game deliberately misled the player, and if you examine some elements of the story with the ending in mind they're pretty contrived.
The problem with QD games is that they're hardly games. If every game were like Heavy Rain I can safely say I wouldn't play many games.
I also think it's worth mentioning that for all the talk about Heavy Rain's great story, it was actually pretty weak and full of holes. Games like Spec Ops: The Line, Uncharted, BioShock, and hell, even System Shock 2 (which is 14 years old) had better stories in addition to fun gameplay.
I agree with you 110% Kryptix.

I was interested in Infinite's story but I just couldn't bring myself to push through the constant shootouts, which I found repetitive and annoying. Shooting was never BioShock's strong suit, but the first game recognized that more I think.
This looks ugly no matter what system it's on. I haven't been paying attention to this game, any chance it's a Vita version?
Honestly what that guy said to him wasn't *that* bad. Phil Fish is constantly saying stuff like this. He's seriously acting like a little kid. I know people liked Fez but this isn't acceptable behavior and this guy doesn't deserve anyone's respect.
Spongebob was fantastic back in the day. Hate all you want, I loved the Spongebob Movie game when I was little.
I really think they misinterpreted it, assuming Joel to be some sociopathic creep. He didn't kidnap Ellie, and he's not about to go lock her away like Rapunzel. He lost his daughter, and he had come to see Ellie as a second daughter. Of course he couldn't stand to lose her. I was actually glad he did what he did. I know it was selfish and wrong, but I'd have done the same thing. Who's to say the vaccine would've even worked?
On June 10, 2013, shots were fired from an SUV, killing 12 year-old XBOX. Witnesses say they saw the word "Playstation" on the side of the van. The killing is believed to have been gang-related.
It's interesting because it was obviously newly made. How cool would it be if they re-released the PSX?
I have no allegiance to Sony or Microsoft. I own a 360 and a PS3 and I enjoy them both, so I'd like to think my opinion is pretty unbiased. This was an underwhelming conference, and nothing they showed off impressed me. Call of Duty: Ghosts looks like a game that could easily be done on current-gen consoles, the Quantum Break trailer gave us nothing but some cheesy acting, and I don't really find sports games interesting. But beyond the games themselves, the system doesn't really ...
I agree. Some of the models were impressive, but when they showed the footage none of it came together to make anything especially fancy.
I'm sure I'll get some downvotes for this, but nothing here came close to impressing like some of the PS4's games have.
I found it weird that they kept talking up the graphics and then the demo was 90% live action footage.
I agree, but this article is terribly written.
"So for all of you still interested in hearing about this utterly mediocre 3rd person shooter, I pray that take a good long look at yourself if your still interested in the game."
Who OK'd that sentence?
That statement explains why Crysis was such a mediocre game wrapped in pretty graphics.
The user reviews on Metacritic are both hilarious and infuriating. Anyone who still wants to pretend like this game sucks just because they dislike the new Dante is a complete asshole. No, none of these critics were bribed: it's just a good fucking game. Because Ninja Theory makes quality products.
I think the thing with first-person shooters is, when you have really cool enemies you want to play as them, but at the same time, the people you're shooting are more important than who you're playing as. Interesting enemies drastically improve the gameplay.
The comments about him being a nerd and not having a life are really immature and uncalled for. The dude clearly put a lot of time into the game, if that's what he wants to do with his time then more power to him. It's pretty messed up of people to do this to him.
First of all, the title states very clearly they're not official. Secondly, what's your problem? Legos are awesome, and cool collectibles aren't "kid crap."
ACII was obviously the better game, but AC will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first truly open world game I ever played, and the setting was just really interesting and unlike anything else in video games, even now. I also think Altair is a great character.
