It was a great concept, but ultimately fell flat. Shame really. :(
I cancelled mine last month for the disc version when I received the e-mail from Sony saying they've cancelled my pre-order but will still send me the Fetch costume DLC codes. :P
A great casting choice as I love Daryl. The only downside is that now I'm going to feel like I'm playing as a tough-badass which might reduce the horror. :P

Kinect, PS Move, Wii U tablet...people just want to play normally now and I don't blame them.
There were some great ideas but they just didn't work out. Conventional controllers aren't going anywhere any time soon.

Dead Island was a great concept but the game was flawed with the sheer amount of bugs and graphics issues.
That said, when it was good it was fun as hell - and the sheer size of the area was very impressive.
