I'll buy it if it has trophies and move support.
XIII is a great game, however it was dissapointing because we know Square-Enix could have done so much more.
I guess the biggest thing they can learn is to not show a trailer 4 years before the game comes out, which renders the finished product inferior in comparison.
I'm hoping they use XIII-2 as an opportunity to improve i.e. giving us more freedom as the levels were incredibly linear.
I'm waiting for friday's disc release, but I'm looking forward to it despite the trilogy being made up of old games.
Whilst you may think the Halo franchise is overrated, I applaud Bungie's efforts for making a fun FPS franchise. Give me Halo over COD any day, and this is coming from someone who doesn't own a 360, but I do have Halo on the PC and love it dearly.
Aslong as we have online and split screen campaign co-op then I'll be pleased. I hope they keep R2's mission based co-op games because they were good too.
It all depends on what happens in these linear environments. I want to be highly entertained, yet at the same time I want to take the environment in. A game like Uncharted or Dead Space may be linear, but its what happens in those environments that makes it work. If a developer needs a more linear path to keep the pace of the game moving then thats their choice.
However, linearity does have its problems if it isn't done very well i.e. FFXIII where you're pretty limite...
Don't buy the DLC then, its your loss. I'll be enjoying it when it comes out. Although to be thruthful I'd rather they fully concentrate on ME3, but seeing as how great the previous dlc missions where, I'm really looking forward to this.
Exactly why I said they should wait to improve their technology. I want things like 1080p and 60fps standard.
Although I don't know about the Wii 2 in that department...
I'm expecting an E3 2012 unveiling of all 3 consoles with Xmas 2012/Spring 2013 releases, because I think this current gen still has alot of life left in it.
I think this gen is more like the PS/N64 gen as oppossed to the one we just had becausse that gen lasted about 6 years, whereas the PS2/GC/Xbox era lasted for 5 years.
Besides, with all the great games coming out this year (especially for the PS3) why do we need another console this year? Next year, ...
I always have a quick flick through a manual the first time before I play a new game.
I wonder if that was some sort of hint? or whether MS just added Halo 3 to the list for the sake of it? either way I'd like to have Halo 3 on the PC.
Back to the video...that was pretty dire to be honest.
Uncharted 3
Resistance 3
Mass Effect 3
New Quantic Dream game?
Halo remake?
Infamous 2
Starhawk
Agent
GTAV
MGS Rising
Next COD (yippeee.....)
Killzone NGP
Resistance NGP
Uncharted NGP
COD NGP
etc etc
I thought the 3D was fantastic when I went to a pre-release event last month. The depth was really good when I played Zelda OOT, however it was annoying that I had to hold it in the exact same place because of the sweet spot. Still, its a great achievement and I'm glad we're getting glasses free 3DTVs.
Its funny that Crash should come up, because I was playing all the old ND Crash games yesterday and I would love it if ND remade them. I don't know if ND have the rights to the Crash games that they made but it would be great if they did and restored the franchise's damaged reputation.
God, what is it with these articles on N4G recently? I don't care!
Is it really neccessary to post these articles?
Any PS3 owner should have played this as soon as it came out because it really is one of the best sand box games out there. It certainly gives Spider-man 2 a run for its money anyway.
I loved the story, the free roaming aspect and the gameplay in particular, so I hope I2 keeps it up.
I'd love to have a HR2, even if the story is seperate to the first game, it would still be awesome. Although, I'd prefer it if QD kept on with the chronicles because I'm desperate to play more after the Taxidermist.
Well to summarise, they seem to think that Arrival will take place in Dover (which is in England for anyone who doesn't know), based on the fact that on Shepard's monitor there are white cliffs.
Part of the mission will take place in a Gamma Ray Observatory based on the interior of that lab in the picture.
The DLC story will take place over 2 days and you'll have to rescue Dr. Amanda Kenson based on that trophy spoiler.
RE5 is how not to do an action horror. DS2 was, and DS2 worked so for that reason I hope DS3 stays as it is now because I was very happy with the balance between horror and action.
I predict an E3 2012 showing with a fall 2012/spring 2013 release for all next gen consoles.
