We've already had prequels and spin offs. DS3 should be a proper sequel, but I think it should stick to the same engine, I don't want any visual changes, except an improvement if they can on the already excellent graphics.
I do agree though, the series does need breathing time, and an early PS4/Xbox 3 release would be good.
Christmas 2012/Spring 2013 please.
Sounds pretty cool, I'll definatly make an effort to check out those terminals in CEA.
I'm part of the 18% and I really see no issue in Miranda's portrayal. Maybe thats because I'm a guy, but its not like its causing any harm. Any proper Mass Effect fan wouldn't complain about something so insignificant.
One of the best things about Resisitance is its story, particularly in RFOM and Retribution. The story I thought was dissapointing in R2 but it looks promising here.
As for R3's gameplay, the campaign demo is definatly better than the multiplayer beta. The beta is just too much like R2 with those stupid perks and that ruined it for me. Fortuntly the atmosphere etc in the campaign saved it for me.
Yeah, I've even nicknamed my PS3, "Jessica".
My precious Firefly. How I miss thee.....:(
Whether or not the N64 had better graphics is open to debate. The PS1 certainly held its own.
The Gamecube did have better graphics than the PS2 though, it was able to render RE4's cutscenes in real time, whereas they were pre-rendered on the PS2.
The PS3, I'd say has displayed the best graphics i.e. Heavy Rain and Uncharted. The whole graphics debate between the PS3 and 360 is really down to developers. They can make games look equal on both consoles...
I really can't think of anything. DS2 was just brilliant.
I'm not going to jump on the "Dead Space 2 isn't scary" bandwaggon. Sure, it wasn't AS scary as the first, but it still scared the crap out of me.
I'll probably get Versus, but right now I don't care since theres no release date. I was hyped in 2006, but its 2011 now and 5 years have passed. Thats along time and quite frankly, it was a moronic decision by Square-Enix to show us a trailer for this at such an early stage. Its the Duke Nukem Forever of Final Fantasy.
If this game comes out next year, and isn't a dissapointment then I'll be happy.
Atleast hes playing a classic game.
I've got to admit, the bath tub scene in Eternal Darkness did make me jump.
I'm still sticking to physical media, thanks.
Well, unless its neccessary i.e. buying Siren Blood Curse, Warhawk and R&C: QFB because the disc versions weren't out at the time.
Oh dear Microsoft....sure, you have some fantastic first party games like Halo, Alan Wake and Gears of War, but the quantity is lacking, severely when compared to Sony or Nintendo.
1. ZOMBIES.
2. Dead Space gameplay - I want to be able to walk and shoot at the same time.
3. HORROR. I want to be scared again.
4. Albert Wesker and Barry Burton. Nuff said.
5. Eerie soundtrack.
6. Co-op, but a seperate co-op from the campaign. Co-op missions like Lost in Nightmares, but not in the form of DLC.
7. Cheesy dialogue and one liners.
They should pitch this to both ND and whoever made My Little Pony.
Well don't just take my word for it, definatly try it out. You may think its better than RFOM, but for me, RFOM is still the best in the franchise and I don't think Insomniac will ever top it with the current gameplay and perks...
Speak for yourself. There are plenty of us that went next gen to start in 2013. I'd quite like an E3 2012 reveal with Christmas 2012/Spring 2013 launches.
Having said that, there are still some awesome titles to look forward to on current gen consoles like UC3, Mass Effect 3 and Halo 4.
I'm in the closed beta, but thats only because I'm a beta tester for pretty much everything. A few years ago there was an official website where you could sign up, but it was only for a limited time.
After playing a few R3 matches, I am dissapointed, its basically R2 with the weapon wheel and international maps. The menu design is much better though, it has that RFOM feel. I've pre-ordered the special edition as the campaign does look good.
Oh, an...
You'll get disagrees because what you said was complete nonsense.
Its a fact that Wii Sports is better than Uncharted, RFOM or Killzone 2? get outta here.
