The whole fixed date thing is utterly retarded, as is the general Friday release for UK games, whereas the US tend to get games on Tuesdays.
The fact that games have to release on either day is ludicrous. So what if Tesco has sold some copies early? who cares? stupid Square-Enix...I applaud stores (online stores in particular) who ship games early.

Jesus, EA are a bunch of retards. The reason why DS3 underperformed was that EA introduced more action to make it appeal to the COD kids.
They gave it a ridiculous sales target of 5 million. A company should be over the moon if it even makes half of that.
