I'm glad the PS eye is optional as I don't have a desire to get one right now, but hopefully in the future games will entice me to use it, but not force me.
I think that's the mistake Microsoft is making. People don't want Kinect crammed down their throats. Sony has the right strategy - making accessories OPTIONAL.
I like to think of next-gen consoles are not all about better graphics, but what you can do in games with more RAM etc. However, I do think graphics compliment games i.e. more emotions. I mean, take the Mirror's Edge trailer, that close up of Faith's face was incredible and I'm sure DICE will be able to pull off more emotions and therefore, I think that storytellers/developers can create more immersive worlds that way. I doubt this will remain an exclusive, it's no doubt a timed exclusive.
DR1 eventually came out in some form on the Wii and DR2 was on the PS3 and 360, so I remain optimistic that DR3 will make its way on the PS4 at some point.
I think people are reading too much into the word "reboot". If this were a reboot then things would look different i.e. Faith.

They should have kept it free, but I'm a PS Plus subscriber anyway so it doesn't affect me.
I'm positive those that didn't want to get PS Plus will reap the benefits i.e. lots of games provided, because I've been very happy with PS Plus. It's by far the best subscription service.

They should remove it altogether. People just abuse the system, I mean I've been given a negative rep for trash talking. I never use my microphone unless I talk to friends and when I do it's in party mode, never public.
