the original Kinect did scan barcode for the kinectimals game it wasn't perfect but with the new technology it should work really nice with Kinect 2.
Sony I can understand they kept the camera out but Kinect 2 is a great device and will have plenty of support and games that will use it. it like the wii not having a wii bar sensor...
something yes your not going to see cloud do graphics processing that is very silly... and of course you don't need a lot of bandwidth either. best way to look at it as a math problem of tons of number and all you need is the answer AI in game is a good example of that...
This game was a last on my phone even better on Kinect and my kids having fun too... :)
I want kinect great family device and maybe they will push some good stuff with more games...
am sure people would not bitch if they included a headset with the console. this port should make better quality connection as well as support better audio and mic quality.
Microsoft has confirmed that DirectX 11.2, the next-generation version of its application programming interface (API) and hardware abstraction layer (HAL) for multimedia devices will be exclusive to Windows 8.1 and its Xbox One console. word is hardware and devices that support...
software will work but not as effective as hardware. the video talked about. only difference between ps4 and X1 would be ps4 has GDDR5 vs X1 DDDR3. with a custom GPU that would support and enhance the DirectX 11.2...
didn't they say in the video that this is not software based that its hardware based. so on top of the software you also going to have to have the capabilities in the hardware support...
maybe the custom GPU that has DirectX 11.2 will make that system have advantages over Sony or make games look very much the same time will tell
at least their no gpu or cpu under the Blu-ray drive it should be a should piece of hardware. I cant wait to see how Sony is cooling their unit..
maybe Microsoft with their custom GPU they have included DirectX 11.2 which Sony might not have that supported in there GPU hardware and will give Microsoft advantages...
I would have to say it's 15 percent between the two but you are right we need more info on what Microsoft custom gpu can really do...
X1 with new sticks that are more responsive and less of a dead zone. new buttons that have more responsive. new triggers with feedback, Led light for player tracking, Wi-Fi direct for better communication and higher quality audio and microphone, new d pad. designed for small and large hands....
I THOUGHT Microsoft had a custom GPU, that they could implicate higher technology that they where researching..
they also have change the sticks size and feel as well as reduced the dead zone on the x1 controller. they have tighten up the buttons and made the more responsive. they have also reduced the responsive actions on every point just like the new ps4 controller...
this video 2:55 into the video shows what the new Kinect can do about clearing up audio and only focusing on your voice as well as only listening to the player talking and nothing else.... https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Go read this article about Wi-Fi Direct vs Bluetooth. also remember that they are using 2.1 not 4.0...
http://www.pcworld.com/arti...
Wi-Fi Direct promises device-to-device transfer speeds of up to 250Mbps, while Bluetooth 4.0 promises speeds similar to Bluetooth 3.0 of up to 25Mbps. Both Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi Direct use the 802.11 net...
I know that the Kinect doesn't activate until you start to talk and the quality and sound cancellation has great approved I guess time will tell....
maybe their will be very little difference
Digital Foundry published an article stating that Microsoft Engineers drastically underestimated their ESRAM.
Xbox One processor is considerably more capable than Microsoft envisaged during pre-production of the console, with data throughput levels up to 88 per cent higher in the final hardware.
Xbox One was previously thought to sustain a peak theoretical throughput of 102GB/s – useful, but still some...
