That's always been the problem in the industry.
You have your base on the older and cheaper console when your releasing your newer and expensive console.
So its nothing new, its part of the business structure of the console market.

The funny thing about Valkyria Chronicles is that the original one on the PS3 sold more in NA than in Japan. So everyone was kind of shock when the sequels came out on the PSP which is popular in Japan and not in NA.
I can't argue with you guys which version made more profit since the only sales chart we can have is vgchartz and that's not 100% reliable.
All I'm hoping now is to see VC3 localized. I don't care if its for the PSP or a remastere...

Your probably right regarding Bamco's wait and see approach with Xillia using Graces F as the barometer but I'm hoping Xillia sales explodes in Japan.
So even if Graces F is not up to Bamco's sales expectation (which is usually unrealistic) they would send Xillia over in hoping the game's momentum (because of good publicity) will carry over outside of Japan.
So here's to hoping fellas. lol!
The speculation by analyst are saying Apple could come in and sell an Apple TV type console where you can download games from the App Store and that Apple's system will be purely Cloud base meaning no retail media disc for games.

We haven't even seen what the PS3 price cut did to affect the 360 sales for MS to validate any price cut.
Let the retailers do the price cut if they want to. Until the PS3 price cuts greatly affects the 360 sales MS should not cut into their profits.

The winner this gen is Nintendo the Wii freaking sold 80 million plus. Get a grip and go back to reality because the console who's tech ain't even this gen nor does it have an expansive online system won the race.
