A follow up would be great!
Snatcher is fantastic!
I'm looking forward to Detroit as well!
A Sega CD collection would fantastic. I'd totally buy that (and hope they'd include Policenauts too!)
I hear you and when I first played it, I remember dreading the escort missions. My perspective on them changed on the new playthrough when I realized that Eileen can't be killed. Any damage she takes only affects the ending so you have carte blanch to mostly ignore her and do whatever you want. That changed my perspective on the whole second half where it was a matter of judging if I wanted to sacrifice myself just to ensure her safety for the ending- or just do my own thing- amping the t...
SH2 is definitely the best in the series, and remakes would be fun. Though I was surprised at how well SH4 holds up visually, especially when you use the PS3 upresing. A Silent Hill 5 main entry would be pretty awesome though. have you played the Siren games? Part of the original SH team worked on it and it's terrifying as well.
That elementary school still gives me nightmares
Yes, me too, though Persona 4 was pretty great as well. I still have to play P1 and P2.
I hear you. For me, it was a 10 just because of how it did so much so well. I know 4 improved much of the gameplay and battle system, adding more complexity to the social links and what-not. But Persona 3 was as close to perfection as a JRPG has gotten. Curious what your other two picks are for top JRPGs =)
Yes of course! I love the AVGN reviews! I even reference his Deadly Towers review in the interview. Ha ha, you were smarter than I was- I never could identify it =)
You know, it's one of my goals to track down some of the makers of LJN and interview them about their games, ha ha =)
I personally liked Deadly Towers and I mainly wanted to interview one of the developers behind it. Alan had a really good sense of humor about the game being considered one of the worst games ever-he's a pretty awesome guy and has worked on some very cool titles.
I haven't played Beyond Two Souls yet (is that out?) but Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy are both pretty awesome =)
Same here, though I thought Persona 3 did a great job of balancing that. Pale City might take it in a completely different vein and that's also part of what interested me in this preview/interview =p
It's still early in development, but some of the ideas Kyle talked about sounded fascinating. I'm very interested in seeing what a RPG without a lot of grinding battles would be like. It's also very metaphysical so I can't wait to see how that translates to gameplay.
You're absolutely right! =)
I hear you. At the same time, I was very impressed by how immersive the Oculus Rift was. I was looking around with my goggles and it felt like I was there. While the textures were lo-res, I've been told the final version will be in HD. You're probably right, but being at the conference just had me thinking about the possibilities =)
ha ha, yeah, I remember beating it very fondly too. It was so tough because you had to do it in one sitting!
hey Bangoskank, yes, I loved this and was so happy to play through it again. Thanks for checking it out
Would love to see a Minish Cap sequel- that was a lot of fun!
